Born in Chico, CA. I started doing magic when I was very young, and became friends with Wayne Houchin in high school. We shared an interest in magic, and have since been working together as a production team on projects like Stigmata and Indecent... and now, theory11.

I produce all of the music that you hear in the videos on this site and in Houchin's previous DVD's, so if the soundtrack sucks submit a complaint to customer service and I'll cry myself to sleep that night.

Q&A:

Q: What got you into magic?
A: When I was about eight years old, my parents bought me a crappy little magic box that changed a quarter into a nickel. I'd go around to all of my relatives, ask them for a quarter, change it into a nickel, and then give them the nickel back.

When I ran out of nickels, I complained to my parents that my artistic integrity was in jeopardy, and they gave me more. I was pretty sure that this little scam was going to make me a millionaire.

The event that shifted my focus from petty thievery to the art of magic came when I performed my little routine for my aunt. She freaked out and was genuinely fooled by the "Magic Stealing Box." From then on, I was hooked.

Q: Who is your favorite performer to watch?
A: Penn & Teller are absolutely incredible. If you're ever in Vegas, they're a must-see. Wayne is pretty damn good on stage as well. Live, his show is a very unique mix of psychology, cons and scams, and sleight of hand. See it if you have the chance.

Q: Tell us about the first time/effect you performed.

Q: What's the last trick that fooled the crap out of you?
A: If I'm being honest, Indecent fooled the crap out of me the first time I saw it. If I'm lying, Criss Angel floating between two buildings.

Q: What advice would you give to those that are just starting in magic?
A: Don't underestimate the intelligence of your audience. They're smart, and if you treat them like a bunch of drooling idiots, they're going to know it and throw things at you. Also, interact with people. Don't go into autopilot the second you begin an effect.
