Wassup guys! Hope you all have had an excellent week. Just a few weeks ago, we released our biggest project to date: The Mystery Box, in collaboration with J.J. Abrams and Bad Robot. The Mystery Box is a tribute to our love of mystery, wonder, and infinite possibility. With a reclaimed wood box, 12 decks, a letter-pressed note from J.J. Abrams - this is an incredible package. Yet there is definitely more than meets the eye when it comes to this product... *hint, hint* Everything is not always as it seems - that is the idea that is directly inspiring this week's challenge. The challenge for this week's contest is to capture an image of an object in levitation, using any method you desire. For example, you can take a picture of a deck of cards "in levitation" by using invisible thread, simply throwing it into the air and snapping a photo, or attaching it to the end of a broomstick - you name it. You can use ANY object you want and ANY method you desire. The choice is yours. Take a picture of your object in levitation, and post it on either Instagram (hashtag #theory11), or a website like Imgur. Once your picture is uploaded to either source, post the link to your images in response to THIS forum thread no later than 7:30pm EST tomorrow (Sunday, March 16th). Each member gets a maximum of two entries a piece. Make them count! We are judging this week's contest based on originality, creativity, and execution of your levitation. You can also receive bonus points if you can invoke a bit of mystery in your photo! The entry that we feel includes all of these the best will win. What do you win? 1,000 Elite Member Points, and 3 Mystery Box Decks, shipped on the house anywhere in the world. Go for it, be the best, and win! -MJ *UPDATE* The winner of this contest has been posted.
