The box is a work of art! Unfortunately, the deck itself was a let down. After buying a bunch of specialty decks over the last few years, it gets boring when all the cards have the same face design. Change the backer image, create a killer box...new collector's deck. I'd rather have a completely redesigned deck where all of the cards are unique instead of a fancy box that you don't really need/use.

Breathtaking! They just arrived in the mail, and they are absolutely incredible. The most detailed design I have ever seen - from the back design, to the Ace of Spades, to the Joker, to the box.

I was REALLY disappointed when I got these and found out only a couple cards in the whole deck have Steampunk art. The box is great, but I definitely would have only purchased one set instead of 3 for gifts. And maybe not even that one.

Very good quality, but I'm also disappointed with the faces. I expected more steampunk feel and would've really wanted steampunk-styled court cards. I've got an elegant H.P. Lovecraft pack, with elder gods depicted in court cards, and was expecting something like that here.
So, good cards, but not quite as steampunk as advertised.

I'm not a huge fan of the look of these cards. However, they feel GREAT! The backs of the cards are a bit abstract for me and the faces are pretty standard. But if you think they look cool and want a deck that feels great, then they are for you!

First of all, these cards are fantastic. However not all of the cards have a steampunk feel to them. The back of each card has a steampunk design, however, only a few card fronts have a steampunk feel. Only the Ace of Spades and the Jokers (I believe that's it). I was a little disappointed that there wasn't a steampunk feel for each card and extremely disappointed that the face cards didn't at least have a special design to them. If anything, at least all of the Aces. I recommend these cards, but don't expect a unique look for every card.

When I first saw the video of these cards, I was glued to the screen. I loved the way they looked and was amazed by the way that just the box looked. I ordered a set and can't wait to use them. These by far are my favorite looking playing cards.

My two decks of Steampunk arrived this afternoon, and I must tell you that these cards are ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. theory11 has really stepped up the quality of their decks this past year, and I am amazed at the level of detail and dedication to the project that the team was willing to go. Custom-making paper for the tuck cases? 12 MILLION polygons?! Simply incredible. And don't even get me started on how the cards feel. If you do not have this deck, don't miss out. Buy it now.

When I saw the unopened box it nearly took my breath away, it was beautiful and then when I opened the box and pull the cards out, I felt a slight disappointment. Don't get me wrong, I think these cards are amazing BUT just not as much as the box makes you expect. If the cards had a metallic ink to it to make it shine more, it would have made it much more beautiful and elegant. It handles amazing! Fans and spreads are like spreading smooth fluff! They are amazing overall but just don't be surprised if you're a bit disappointed at first.

These cards are amazing. The box is raising the bar for other decks and the backs are so interesting. This is a "must buy" deck.
