Well, the box is just awesome. It is too awesome! But when you open it, the design isn't the best one ever.
However, they handle really well so if you like what you see in the pictures, order a brick (or two) and you won't be disappointed.

The box looks great, but mine wasn't embossed at all, and after a couple of weeks I could already see very wel that I had used them, even though I had only used them a couple of times. The cards handle great, and they look great too! The backs are amazing, so detailed and well designed- people complained about the white spaces, but that's actually what I love about it. It's a detailed and dark back design, with just the right amount of white in it. Same goes for the Ace of Spades. The red of the pips is just a bit lighter that the red that is used in normal Bycicle cards, but the court cards themselves look just the same. The card handling is awesome- this is a great deck for springs and fans.
Another thing that I love about it: if you look at the bolts in teh corners of the cards, you can see that the design is actually asymmetrical. This comes in handy for magicians as it's almost invisible!
Conclusion: the Steampunks are definitely a nice deck to add to your collection or to just use for performing magic tricks.

The box is just awesome. It's like the Deck One box. (although I like the Deck One better haha) The cards feel great. All that you expect from a T11 deck so just go ahead and get it. No complaints.

These cards are AMAZING! They handle great, and they look even better. My only complaint is that the box isn't as deeply embossed as I was expecting - because the silver steam punks are very embossed. But otherwise, I highly recommend this deck.

I enjoy the steampunk theme of this deck. The ace of spades and jokers are very nice. I personally like the standard court cards with the colors pumped up. The cards handle very well and perform nicely.

I've always loved steampunk themes from movies such as Wild Wild West. This deck does the theme justice, my only complaint is that I wish they would have done more with the court cards to make them fit the steampunk theme. Overall great handling deck, plus I love the bronze tuckbox. Great addition to any collection!

The box is pretty great and looks good with my collection. The cards are pretty slick and handle well. However, I think that the design falls a bit flat. When you mix the paper white into the machinery, it does not look too great. But I still think it is worth the price.

The box of these cards are fantastic, with just the right look and feel. The cards handle wonderfully for cardistry and are also nice and flashy for some tricks. My only gripe is that there is nothing new to the design of the cards themselves, just the box and the backs.

Great smooth design. This design would be suitable for almost any style. Great quality. The face of the cards except Jokers and Ace of Spades are not so different from Bicycle (the red ink is a little darker - chic).

The box is absolutely amazing and the gold ink on the back is one of the best I have seen on a deck of cards. But I do feel the back should be altered to have a more metal feel to match the box.

The description is very misleading. It makes it sound as if they were metallic or used metallic paint or some such. They are standard cards besides the jokers and ace of spades. That being said, they are extremely nice cards and my new favorites.

I received my cards. They are just as beautiful as they are on the screen. Holding them is a great experience. The back of the deck offers you a great design and the ink color used on the front is different from standard Bicycle decks. The color tone is very attractive. Jokers are also beautiful and you get used to them in no time.
I suggest you buy one for yourself or as a gift to your fellow magician. Thanks for the design Alex. I am happy about my choice.

New Favorite deck. Seriously.
The cards design is stunning, it gives the illusion that they actually have metal parts on them!
Although the cards have standard faces ( with the exception of the Ace of Spades, and Matching Jokers), The cards are tinted a bit to look more distinct.
The Face Cards (Court) have golden, rustic look to them, and the reds are a bit darker.
Overall, it creates a great look and style for the Cards. 5 stars!

Great deck, nothing was spared in the making of true perfection. The court cards are highlighted with gold and deep colors. The back, the jokers, and the ace of spades attract much attention while flourishing.

Back design is amazing, ace of spades and joker have awesome detail as well! Handling is just superb, the best I've felt in a while! Pick these up, they are a must have. At first when you open the box, the deck seems great. But after using it for a while and once broken in, you'll understand what this deck is really about. It's theory11 quality, class and style. With all the custom decks out today, it's good to know your audience still recognize that theory11 Steampunk is a deck of cards. They don't want to look at someone elses face. That's why this deck was designed with traditional court cards. Over all, this deck deserve a ********** rating for box, handling, looks, stock and feel. For flourishing, this deck is way up there. Outstanding work theory11!

I just got a deck of these yesterday, would have been cooler if the court cards were custom. Instead of all the white on the back use black or a metal color / texture like brass or copper. Other than that, they are rather cool.

Sick cards, front and back. I know people complain about the design but I personally love it's originality. As for the front, the simplistic and normal pictures kept the cards from going over board. The thin cards felt broken in right out of the box, which is stellar, and did everything I wanted them to do. Great cards for really everything.

There's NO beating this deck box, but if you think you're getting a crazy completely-custom deck, you're wrong. It was a huge letdown to see that the court cards didn't even use copper or metallic gold! They just darkened the colors like with the Aristocrats. This deck's box was phenomenal, but they could've at least made court cards with colors related to the theme.

The box is a work of art! Unfortunately, the deck itself was a let down. After buying a bunch of specialty decks over the last few years, it gets boring when all the cards have the same face design. Change the backer image, create a killer box...new collector's deck. I'd rather have a completely redesigned deck where all of the cards are unique instead of a fancy box that you don't really need/use.

I was REALLY disappointed when I got these and found out only a couple cards in the whole deck have Steampunk art. The box is great, but I definitely would have only purchased one set instead of 3 for gifts. And maybe not even that one.

Very good quality, but I'm also disappointed with the faces. I expected more steampunk feel and would've really wanted steampunk-styled court cards. I've got an elegant H.P. Lovecraft pack, with elder gods depicted in court cards, and was expecting something like that here.
So, good cards, but not quite as steampunk as advertised.

I'm not a huge fan of the look of these cards. However, they feel GREAT! The backs of the cards are a bit abstract for me and the faces are pretty standard. But if you think they look cool and want a deck that feels great, then they are for you!

First of all, these cards are fantastic. However not all of the cards have a steampunk feel to them. The back of each card has a steampunk design, however, only a few card fronts have a steampunk feel. Only the Ace of Spades and the Jokers (I believe that's it). I was a little disappointed that there wasn't a steampunk feel for each card and extremely disappointed that the face cards didn't at least have a special design to them. If anything, at least all of the Aces. I recommend these cards, but don't expect a unique look for every card.

My two decks of Steampunk arrived this afternoon, and I must tell you that these cards are ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. theory11 has really stepped up the quality of their decks this past year, and I am amazed at the level of detail and dedication to the project that the team was willing to go. When I saw the unopened box it nearly took my breath away, it was beautiful and then when I opened the box and pull the cards out, I felt a slight disappointment. Don't get me wrong, I think these cards are amazing BUT just not as much as the box makes you expect. If the cards had a metallic ink to it to make it shine more, it would have made it much more beautiful and elegant. It handles amazing! Fans and spreads are like spreading smooth fluff! They are amazing overall but just don't be surprised if you're a bit disappointed at first.
