Hahaha when I watched this video I have to say, it's quite hilarious! I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it. The method to this is so simple, yet the presentation can be quite difficult. There are so many ways to present something like this. I have already performed Control about five times and I've had it for maybe three weeks now. It has definitely jumped to my favorites list of magic and Wayne did a very good job!

This is one of the best releases Wayne has made. When he taught the explanation I couldn't help but laugh. It's so simple. I use this as a finale in a lot of my performances. Highly recommended and very effective.

Yes the method is very very simple, and with a little bit of practice you can start preforming. The improtant part is the psycology (I guess that says for all magic tricks), Dan and Wayne are a terrific team and they really take you into the effect and give you a lot of tips to preform it in the real world.
So, I decided to try it out on my friend. One afternoon, after a basketball game, I kept panting and told him that my head felt very strange, I also told him "my heart rate seems weird"... He fell for my bait and started taking my pulse, and man those reactions were...
Even before it stopped completely he was already shaking me and saying "John, JOHN, HEY, ARE YOU OK, PLEASE ANSWER ME...". I decided not to continue, and told him to bring me water. He came back with three bottles... all the while running. I had to let him take my pulse for the next three days...
So yeah, it works beautifully if you give it a little practice and the teaching is awesome. It is true you can get amazing reactions, so don't pass this up!

Well, the DVD cover does all of what it says. It teaches you how to give your audience the impression that you stopped your pulse.
The teaching was in depth. I laughed my head off when the method was revealed. The principle behind this is so simple that it leaves you room for your presentation. This effect can disturb your audiences depending on how you present it.
Daniel Garcia's contribution is the perfect follow up for Control. The watch stop effect can be used as a stand alone effect. You can tweak your presentation to achieve this.
Will I perform Control? Yes I would, but only after I find out how I could incorporate it into my act and personality.
This effect is practical and strong. I highly recommend it. Even though I don't perform it, the DVD is just fun to watch. Wayne Houchin and Daniel Garcia make a great team. I hope they do a project together.

Enough can’t be said about this trick. I've been doing magic for almost 10 years and for a trick to impress me is tough. Wayne has done it again. This one delivers on so many different areas. You will leave you spectators speechless, literally. It’s a must have. One of those tricks that goes beyond magic and it’s so simple, yet powerful.
The DVD is great. Daniel and Wayne make a phenomenal duo. Very entertaining and enjoyable. Your will want to watch it over and over again just to see those to two work their magic. Plus the bonus, “STOP”, only adds to the impact of the trick. Definitely recommend for all of those magicians whose want to take their magic to the next level.

Yet another fantastic effect conjured up by Wayne Houchin. Danny Garcia's bonus effect is also extremely creative, and is a great follow up to Control. Everything about the DVD is phenomenal. The entire presentation, explanation, all of it, was done very professionally. It's also one of the most entertaining magic instructionals I have ever seen.
Control is something you can immediately add to your repertoire (with practice of course). Overall, you can't go wrong with Control, it's impromptu, it's anytime anywhere, it's something you shouldn't miss out on having.

If you don't own this already then what are you waiting for?! Of course this DVD delivers, there are several factors that tell you this before you even look at all the incredible reviews.
1. It's Wayne Houchin - All of his material has been marvelous to this date, he's a wonderful magician/teacher in everything he does. Control is no different.
2. It's here at theory11 - If you've bought T11 merchandise before you know the amount of quality, time and effort that goes into everything they do. T11 believes in quality over quantity, so that right there tells you this DVD is rockin'!
It's a wonderful effect that I perform several times a month now. I love doing this effect and it's easy to jump right in and do it. You can build the suspense and make this effect as powerful as you want.
Wayne does another great job teaching you what needs to be done - as well as subtle hints that will make it that much better. He goes into full detail as to how to get into the effect, what you should do during the effect, and how you should come out of it.

Daniel and Wayne get together in the video which you know is going to be hilarious, it's not but entertainment when these two gentleman get together. Daniel and Wayne discuss Control in detail and then teach you "STOP", which is very similar to control but involves your chest.
Also - You get to see Wayne perform his Invisible Palm routine within the DVD, before he does his performance of Control.
This is an amazing DVD with two amazing effects by two very talented magicians. If you really want something that looks, feels, and is magicial then this is the way to go.

This is a great effect. Period! Wayne Houchin has come up with some pretty clever effects. This one is so simple and so easy to peform. It really lets you connect with your spectators, which is what a good trick is all about.
Wayne breaks the trick down into simple steps. He teaches it like your right in the room with him. Next to him teaching is the always funny, always energetic Daniel Garcia - who we all know from great tricks like Fraud and Greed. As a bonus, DG teaches you how to do Stop - which is a great effect.
This DVD is very entertaining and educational. It also has the always loved Randel, who is quite the character. We hope to see him again in another Wayne Houchin project. Watching Randel perform is very entertaining and you learn a lot on what not to do.
Anyway, long story short : Buy this DVD!

Control is all about presentation. This is one of the best effects that you will ever come across. Powerful! I've had people cry, pray, and scream. Wayne Houchin brings it up!
From 1 to 10, this is an 11, just like the name itself, Theory 11.

For starters: It is the single greatest effect I have ever owned. The people are actually feeling you die. It really isn't possible for an effect to get stronger than this.
Teaching: 10/10
Comedy: 5,000,000/10
Danny's STOP: An incredible follow through for CONTROL.
Final Thoughts: Well.... let's just say a lot of police officers will be asking Theory11 some questions. It is my favorite DVD. It is a MUST BUY! If you are reading this right now, you will be magically put under the spell to buy it.

Wow, now this is probably one of the best magic tricks I've bought in ages! Not only that it doesn't need cards, coins, gaffs etc. its pretty cheap too! Its really worth the money!
This one is a "MUST GET" from Wayne Houchin (Ur mah hero!).
+ The video and the contents itself is so funny! You won't get bored watching, i liked the guy + guy sessions with Danny and Wayne!
My whole family's heart stopped when i showed it to them, they called 911. 5/5 Stars! Get it now!

The Effect: You should know what the effect is by now. :P
Download Times: It took about an hour and a half to download, I was quite pleased with the speed, seeing as its nearly 1GB.
The Method: Wow man. At first, I felt a little disappointed. Honestly, I did. But then I looked back over it and thought how genius this is. THIS WORKS. Wayne Houchin deserves everything he gets out of Control. It's truly fantastic, I'll be performing this very soon to some family members.
Teaching: The teaching itself is brilliant - you get taught by Wayne and Danny. They teach you everything. And I mean everything. How to open, what to say to start, the different types of spectator this will affect, how to manage your audience after the trick, how to manage them in the trick.
Extras: Oh my gosh. The amount of added bits on this video! You're also taught Danny Garcia's Stop effect, which I won't use at the minute, but I can't say why without exposing. Wayne also teaches you a watch stop effect (borrowed, impromptu) that ties in beautifully.
I'd also like to say something else. This video is hilarious. I'd pay $29.99 for the comedy factor on its own! For example, little bit from Randall's routine;
"Hello, you wanna see some magic?"
"Uhh, yeh, sure."
"You believe in the dead?"
"Ummm... I guess so.... =S"
"Well, they're like people that've died..."
"Right."
"So, I'm gonna die for you right now "
Randall then goes and performs Control. When his pulse stops, he simply lets out a breath of air, and collapses. Priceless.
Overall: Get it. Honestly, you will not regret it one bit. It's a killer effect that's so practical, it can be done any time anywhere. Boom - you're pulse stopped. 10/10.
I've never ever given a 10/10 to any product, ever. This deserves more than a 10. Here, have an 11. 11/10.

Control is one of those effects that are all about the presentation. When you get the relatively simple method down, it frees you up to do so much with this idea. STOP is also an amazing add-on to this routine, which allows you to repeat Control instantly, but go even farther. All in all, it is truly an amazing effect.

I saw the method .. i was so fooled that i almost hit my computer desk. At first, i didn't get the the method right and i was a little angry. But when i played around with it a little time i got it, and performed and the reactions were unbelievable. Then i thanked theory11, especially Wayne Houchin for releasing it.

Control is a phenomenal routine and this is Wayne Houchin's best product to date by far. The video is not only entertaining but also very informative, meaning that you get everything you need to know about performing this effect for real people.
The section that they have about Randall is great. Not only is it hilarious, you learn quite a bit from it, you see Control from a beginners stand and a lot of what was going through my head when I was picturing myself performing Control, happened to Randall. This section will really clarify any misconceptions.
This is theory11's best product to date, a must have for anyone that wants to put that "awe" factor into your routine. 5/5.

So far this trick got me going nuts when I first saw it and I can see ample of opportunities that you can do with this trick. I don't know what are you guys thinking but you can definitely get a lot of girls with this trick. Ok enough goofing around, I have to say this is the ultimate anytime anywhere with a great impact on the people that you have performed to. Highly recommended for you all to buy a copy of it.
