This is an awesome effect Mathieu! I use this a lot. It gets reactions like "Whoa, I wasn't expecting that!" The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because one of the methods ruined my gimmick. I tried to fix it but failed. That method didn't work. I still perform it but it is hard to hide the mishap.

A very easy trick. Very impressive will always get a good reaction. Took roughly an hour to get the basic reveal down. You CAN buy extra decks once you have bought the DVD, all you need to do is contact support!

This trick is good and impressive, but I have just two problems with it:
1. The cutting of the cards should have been more exaggerated in my opinion. Maybe it was just my deck, but this is effect is EXTREMELY difficult, if not impossible, to perform in the classic routine.
2. You can't perform the change from one writing to another without not performing the original. I think you should be able to buy another deck without purchasing the DVD; that way it would be cheaper.

This is a great trick. Do not try to make the gimmick at home, it is impossible. I've already ruined two decks trying to make the gimmick myself.

What a mind blowing trick. You reveal the wrong card on the side, which is still mind blowing because of the way it is revealed. Then you change that to the correct card, and people will scream out of awe! Props to Mathieu Bich and theory11!

Awesome effect, ideal if you know how to switch in an already examined deck for an awesome visual finale but even if you don't, most people will not suspect a thing. Slight criticism in that the initial preparation is harder than you may think - but well worth it.

Effect:
The effect is just awesome! Although the idea isn't Mathieu's this is some extremely powerful magic. Even the idea of ink appearing along the side of the deck is amazing, much less seeing it in person!

The method is simply ingenious. This is an excellent trick coming from an excellent magician. I wish I would have thought of it!

Difficulty:
While this trick isn't quite as easy as some say, this is still one of my favorites. It will take a little bit of practice, but it is time gladly spent for such an amazing trick. If you're a beginner magician and looking for some powerful magic, then this is the trick for you!

Gimmick:
This is a very clever gimmick that can only be factory made. If you try to make it yourself, all you'll end up doing is wasting a deck. You can't choose which card to force, but I'm happy nonetheless.

DVD quality:
The DVD is from T11 so it is just about top of the line. It is not the best they have ever made though. The camera is just a little out of focus for most of it. That and the added fact that it is filmed at night make it slightly hard to see. Overall though, this is a great DVD.

Price:
The price is just perfect for what you're getting. It's not too expensive and not too cheep. It all balances out to $25.

There is really nothing bad to say about this trick. It is nearly perfect. If I had one criticism, it would be that you have to be careful with the angle you slant the cards at towards the spectator or they may see something. Mathieu Bich is a genius and it shows with EDGE. This is definitely going into my routine.

Being a fan of Mathieu, I wanted to buy this so bad. I got this for Christmas, and I watched it right away. This is my review of this super-visual effect called "EDGE."

EDGE: EDGE is truly something that you should perform at the right time, right place, and for the right people. I've performed this already, and my family is still confused, I caught my brother trying to steal it! This trick definitely is a keeper and if you buy it, never, ever, EVER lose it! EDGE is amazing, so I give it a 10/10.

Method: The method is pretty darn clever, although I will say you only have to use one deck, so if you wanted another one, you'd have to make it or buy another one (without the DVD of course.). So because of this, you'd have to protect it, but I like it either way, so I'll give it an 8/10.

Difficulty: This trick is so easy, you can pretty much perform this in a breeze and, as Mathieu says, it's almost ENTIRELY self-working, so I like it. 9/10.

Angles: The angles for this trick are pretty good, you can be completely surrounded performing this trick. They're not to shabby. 9/10.

Easy Presentation: In my opinion, this is a little bit too easy. 7/10.

Price: The price is the perfect price for what you're getting, and you're getting an awesome effect, awesome deck, awesome DVD, awesome teaching, awesome (clever) method, awesome presentations, awesome bonuses, and MORE! 10/10.

Overall: EDGE is pretty much a trick that you'd HAVE to keep and even though you only use one deck, it's still an amazing, super-visual effect anyway. You're just getting an awesome DVD and I can't stress this enough, it's the perfect holiday gift, and I highly recommend you buy it. With that said, I extremely love EDGE and I'm giving it a 9/10.

The secret to this trick is really nice. It is completely ingenious.

Content: I was a little bit disappointed on the way that I can only force one card. I decided to use an erasable pen instead of a marker, and that sure solved the problem. Now I can force names, words, etc.

Price: The price is reasonable for what you are getting.

Difficulty: Easy as pie! No sleights needed.

Angles: Like most of the tricks, people can not stand behind you for about 5 seconds.

I think Mathieu Bich can only do this, because the effect is more than incredible. There, wiping the EDGE of the deck of card, then the selected card is permanently shown written on the EDGE of the deck of cards. Great, fantastic, incredible, insane - that is MATHIEU BICH.
