This effect is awesome, super visual, and I don't care about the price because it's worth every penny!
MagicMan4000 • United States • 05/14/13
Daniel Garcia and Dan White took a lot of time to come up with this effect and wow! It is absolutely amazing. It gets amazing reactions. This was my first theory11 effect and I have to say it was well worth the price. Buy this today!
Jack • Los Angeles • 04/21/13
It's an okay trick but you will probably not fool many people with this one. It is not really a full trick as you can only make it look like the cell phone is in the balloon, it is tricky to get it out without revealing the method, and the fact that the phone is borrowed means that you have to return it. It is way overpriced and I found a similar version on YouTube. I do not recommend paying for this.
Noah B • San Diego • 04/13/13
Really great impromptu trick!
Burak S. • Turkey • 04/09/13
Impromptu, quick, not overpriced, and stunning! What else can you ask for!
Riker • Oregon • 03/31/13
Pressure is a good trick, it is by no means a great trick though. The price is pretty steep as well. If you're desperate to add one more trick to your street performance, than this would be a great purchase for you. Otherwise, I would say save your money and get something else.
xDo • Vienna • 03/28/13
Pressure is an extremly visual effect that you can perform anytime and anywhere. That's the best part.
The method: Really easy actually. After a little bit of practice you are ready to perform this effect.
The explanation: Full in detail and shot in HD. What more do you want?
The price: The only down side on this effect. Nearly $20 for Pressure is a bit overpriced. That's why my overall rating is 4 out of 5.
Go and buy this awesome effect even though it's a bit pricey!
Joseph Brimicombe • England • 03/27/13
Really good but really expensive.
Jared Loi • Malaysia • 03/18/13
Pressure is one of my favorite anytime/anywhere magic tricks because it's just so easy to perform and it's very effective.
Mike • United States • 03/14/13
Cool effect that's easy to learn. Unfortunately, I only gave it 4 stars because I felt that the price is a little steep. Other than that, it is good effect with great quality teaching (like everything here at t11)!
Greg • New Hampshire • 03/13/13
Another great trick from theory11. So simple in its execution yet it draws amazing reactions. Definitely worth the money. It can truly be done anywhere and anytime with any balloon and phone.
George • Peru • 03/04/13
This is the reason why I always carry balloons in my pockets.
Jared L. • Malaysia • 03/02/13
Anytime, anywhere, and COMPLETELY examinable! Sensational!
Thomas • Wollongong • 02/28/13
This is an amazing trick and it's by two of my favorite magicians! When I bought it I knew it would be good, and I was right. Epic trick, would recommend it to anyone.
Eric • California • 02/22/13
This was my first purchase at theory11 and I was a little on the fence about it. After hearing so much about "Pressure" I had to buy it to cure my curiosity.
I am extremely happy and satisfied with what I got.
This is a wonderful, visual trick and is perfect at parties. People won't be able to guess how it's done. I've had people try and mimick what I do, and they are fooled every time.
This is a gem and you will use it so much, that is a guarentee. So much bang for your buck, you won't know how you survived with out it.
All in all, clean, visual and simple. It will blow people's minds every time and will be "that trick" when you want to really blow someone away.
Joseph Ramsay • Pennsylvania • 02/17/13
Everyone's favorite go to effect. Worth the price and the practice, so go get it!
Redi Spades • Virginia • 02/01/13
This effect requires good presentation skills and a bit of misdirection. But for someone with a bit of experience under their belt, this is worth it if it fits into your act. Add the funny parts that Daniel Garcia never fails to deliver, and you have a well produced DVD from theory11.
Alison Plaistow • England • 01/26/13
Just amazing. Best impromptu trick using every day items. Good job DG.
Jon Carter • Bowling Green, KY • 01/23/13
Very impromptu effect that will blow the minds of your audience. Daniel Garcia and Dan White give excellent instructions and details on how to maximize the effects of Pressure. Highly Recommend!
Josh • United States • 01/21/13
Super clean, super visual, and super simple. Every time you blow up a balloon, you blow up a spectator's mind. Simple as that.
Christian • Canada • 01/13/13

Zvi • Israel • 12/20/12
Awesome, powerful, impromptu magic by Daniel Garcia - nothing more!
Josh Ferguson • UK • 11/24/12
Think about this for a moment: Borrow a balloon and a cell phone. Visually penetrate their cell phone into the borrowed balloon. Give their phone back while it is still inside the balloon. They rip it out and everything is examined.
This is one of the strongest, most unbelievable pieces of magic you can perform in an impromptu situation, period. No wonder many top professional magicians have raved about this. And the cherry on top of the icing on top of the cake has to be that Pressure is incredibly simple to perform!
Powerful, impromptu magic at it's best. Pressure is one of the finest pieces of magic in the last 10 years.
Emmanuel • Woodland Hills, CA • 11/07/12
An ingenious little trick that was a lot easier to perform than I expected - Daniel Garcia is of course, hilarious, and the teaching is great.

A brilliant effect. It's so simple but really deceptive. I highly recommend it.

One of my favorite effects of all time. So simple, but it blows people's minds. I really enjoyed the humor that Dan and Daniel add to this video. This is a classic, as well as a must buy. If you could buy one effect, this is the one to get.
Alex • USA • 10/08/12
This is a great trick, however it does have some cons. It is completely impromptu, but every once in a while the balloon will break at a certain point in the trick. It is easy to clean up if this happens, just get another balloon. I do love this trick (just make sure you don't buy super cheap balloons) BUY IT NOW!

Such a simple trick but it really hits hard. Definitely reccomend this trick if you can blow a balloon.

Pressure is one of, if not the best impromptu and borrowed objects effect I've ever come across.
I've had people ask me to take their picture, and when I go to hand their phone or camera back I put it into a balloon. It's so magical because it doesn't involve cards, and that's what I love about it.
I've asked to borrow someone's phone really quick, then I'll perform Pressure with it - doesn't get much stronger than that to simply and powerfully demonstrate who you are and what you do.
Plus the teaching, as always by Daniel Garcia, is engaging, entertaining, detailed and informative.
Put it in your cart right now for immediate download.
Jonathan • Southlake, TX • 07/12/12
Great trick! Really easy to perform. I did it for my friend who has a tablet phone, so I'm pretty sure it can be done on any phone. I wish it was less expensive, but it's worth it in the end I think.

A truly amazing effect. A phone, a deck of cards, a PSP, and even a CAN!!! I would 100% recommend this.
Ben Taylor • UK • 04/15/12
Effect: The effect is incredible. When I first watched the trailer, I had no idea what had hit me! It's impromptu as well, which is a plus because it really looks like there must be a gimmick involved.
Teaching: The teaching is very good, from the two Dans. Not only do you get the good detail, but you also get a touch of humor from them. They go through the actual move and clean up, with a few alternate handlings, in absolutely amazing detail!
Price: Here's my one confusing point. The price is 20 dollars for this amazing effect, it's literally the best effect I now have. Although, I would have preferred a price of 15 dollars, but having said that, I happily would have paid up to 30 dollars. This effect is well worth the money!
Quality: The quality of the download isn't as good as the newer theory11 downloads, but that's mainly because it's older! The quality is absolutely fine though, you'll be able to watch it just fine, there is also good lighting and perfect audio so it's nice and easy to watch and understand.
Difficulty: The difficulty of this effect is set as easy - and that's because it is. The effect is so easy to execute, you'll be performing it 10 minutes after finishing the download. One of the alternate handlings is a little harder, but still not hard.
Overall: I highly recommend this effect, it's absolutely amazing. It's impromptu as well, which is even better because all you need to do this is a balloon, and someones cell phone, which everyone will have! I would easily say in the top 5 tricks on the whole of theory11, maybe even ever! You can tell the two Dans have put a lot of thought and effort into this effect, and it's for sure one that you should pick up. I wish I could give it six stars! But five will have to do. For 20 dollars you're getting this incredible, seemingly impossible miracle, with alternate handlings, a few minutes of hilarious bloopers, good teaching, and access to another alternate handling by Christopher Lyle. Get this. Right now!
Wyatt • Australia • 02/28/12
As great as it is, $20 was maybe a touch too much - even though it can be applied to anything smaller than a drink can. People tend to figure it out too. Most of the people I have performed it to have figured it out. All that aside it still looks great and I would recommend it.
Jordan • USA • 02/22/12
This effect is amazing! Seriously! I recognize that $20 is a pretty big amount, but it literally paid for itself during the first 7 times I performed, they freaked out! It was amazing!
The method is great, and the Dans are hilarious :)
Also, an alternate method and ideas are given, not just the methods used in the trailer, although thats a great. New Fav effect. Impromptu. Amazing.

Looks great, but any trick where you take responsibility for not dropping yours or someone else's phone-lets say $800 iPhone, might be a problem. Of course, as they suggest, any small item also works.

This is a MUST-HAVE trick. It's so easy to perform, and the effect seems absolutely impossible to your audience. You will be surprised at how simple this trick is.
For those wondering what size balloons to buy, I strongly recommend looking for ones that are 12 inches (30.5 cm), or close to that. It's the perfect size for cell phones and similar objects.

How close can magic get to being real? After practicing this trick for at least 30 minutes, I went out and tried it on my friends. Their expressions were priceless. They were shocked and amazed, at the same time. I gave them back their phone inside of the balloon and walked away. I am very new to all of this, and Pressure was one of the first effects that I purchased. What a confidence booster!
I was able to perform this effect after only three or four tries. The cleanup is a breeze and can be done in full view of the spectator. Every person I have shown this to has been absolutely blown away.
The video is very well made. The effect is explained in great detail and includes a number of actual performances, which gives you a good idea of how to perform this in front of an audience.
I'll definitely be purchasing more effects from theory11 in the future.

Pressure is a amazing - impossible effect yet the concept is simple and easy. It is one of my signature and best effects I perform to people and the reactions are great! A genius method that will quickly rise your ranks and improve your reputation.
Joe Cole • Nebraska • 09/10/09
I'm ashamed to say this - I downloaded it at 3pm, bought the balloons around 4pm, practiced it in my car at 5pm, and performed it at my gig at 6pm. People were loving it!
Borrowed object put inside an impossible location. You can't beat that guys! I did it probably eight times tonight and EVERY reaction was "NO WAY!"
So don't buy it! I want to be the only one doing it.

This effect is a trick I've wanted to do for a while, but didn't have a method. When I found this trick I immediately purchased it and watched the download. It was better than any other method I thought could have been done.
Pressure is a genius effect and I will perform it in my walk-around act. It is explained very simply. Pressure is a 10 out of 10!

Well, lets just say im never leaving my house without a balloon with me. This is definitely one of my favorite tricks. i watched the download, went to the store, bought the balloons, and actually performed it for one of my friends about forty minutes after watching the video.
The video is very well explained, and way funny. you wont regret it!!
Sean T. • Los Angeles, CA • 06/24/09
At first I was really skeptical of the effect, not knowing how much of a reaction I would get from an audience. I originally, honestly thought this effect was going to be a waste of money. However, my friend bought me the DVD (as a graduation gift) and I watched it with low expectations.
Boy, was I completely wrong! I was blown away by the method. It is so simple. Now this effect is one of my favorites. This is one trick that I will never leave home without. Job well done by Daniel Garcia and Dan White.
Richard • Honolulu, Hawaii • 06/09/09
This is an AMAZING effect that is easy to learn and perform. I bought both the DVD and the download. Dan White and Daniel Garcia do a great job of teaching it to you and they're both hilarious on the DVD. That's a bonus.
I'm a professional balloonist / magician and adding this effect just blows the audiences away. It's their cell phone, and in some magical way you put it in the balloon. People walk away with their phone in a new handy protective case...haha. Don't hesitate - be one of the first to perform it in your area. I got this when it first came out and still perform it to priceless reactions. You won't regret it.
Louis • NY • 05/13/09
I'll start off by saying it is highly recommended. It is extremely practical - no setup at all. You can put anything that is of similar size into the balloon.
There are certain balloons that will not work. For example, the ones that are filled at the store, with the machine with helium, that you don't really tie up, those won't work. Also, the long thin balloons that clowns make swords and elephants out of won't work either. But basically any other balloon would work just fine.
The video is hilarious, just like all DG DVD's are. There is one performance where the person's phone rings inside the balloon, and what he does is just hilarious! Overall, one of my favorite effects, and definitely worth picking up!
Robert • Lancaster, PA • 04/12/09
PRESSURE is one of those effects that everyone loves because the clean-up happens while the spectator is freaking out. I thought that it would be a rip, but it is sooo worth the money. The secret is so fool-proof - and so cool. The reactions you get are amazing. They just don't know what to think.
Nice work DG, DW, and the rest of T11!
Jacob • theory11 forums • 03/31/09
Alright, I already know there are a lot of other review on Pressure, but I've never done a review before, and I thought this would be a good effect to start on. So, here we go... I'll break it down as best as I can.
Effect: The performer asks a spectator to hold out their cell phone. He then proceeds to blow up a balloon and takes the cell phone. Phone in one hand, balloon in the other, the performer visually pushes the phone inside of the balloon. Showing it is inside the balloon, the performer can hand it back to the spectator for them to remove.
Quality: One of the most important things, and T11 does not fail to give top-notch quality on the video. Very good camera angles let you see what is happening better along with the audible teaching.
Teaching: Honestly, there is not a whole lot to the trick, but the Dans do a great job of going over every aspect of the trick and pretty much any situation you will enctounter and how to handle it. They take turns swapping hints and instructions, so you get two awesome instructors to teach you. They show the trick first and then break it down into two simple steps which are very easy to learn by just following along.
Visual level: The reactions are instant as the audience can visually see the balloon suck up the phone or whatever other item you so choose to use. One of the most visual effects I have seen.
Practicality: The trick is very practical. You can do it at parties, get togethers, pretty much anywhere. The only real set up is to make sure you have a balloon with you, and pretty much any balloon will work which is what makes this trick so great. (They tell you not to use the long ones)
Overall: 10/10. This has to be the best trick I've bought. Its simple, its practical, its visual, and its just plain fun to do.
CJSmith • Savannah, GA • 03/30/09
The effect itself is easier than a double lift - you'll have a phone in a balloon by your third try easily. The teaching is on point with both magicians adding their thoughts and tips, and the DVD isn't long and drawn out - performances are shown, the effect is taught, an alternate handling is shown, and that's pretty much it.
The DVD doesn't come with balloons, so if you've ordered it and are waiting on it to arrive, go buy some basic party balloons (12" ones are fine).
As stated, all you need is a balloon and a phone - no set-up required. There's a small clean-up move at the end, but it can be done in full view of the spectator without them catching it.
Great effect for less than $20.
Charlie • Texas • 03/29/09
Pressure is a great effect. The effect itself is NOT a magician fooler, but for laymen it is the best trick they will ever see. It is extremely easy. The clean-up takes about 0.5 seconds and you do it right in front of the spectator.
At the end of the trick, you can actually hand the phone (inside the balloon) right back to the spectator and THEY can take the phone out!
Alex Spencer • United Kingdom • 03/25/09
The Effect: You literally leave the house with nothing on you.. apart from having your clothes on. You walk into a store buy a balloon, grab a by-passer and their cell phone, borrow the cell phone and put it inside the balloon.
10/10
The Method: The method is one of those things that will keep your brain thinking about it all the time; how you can show it, how you can continue to make it look so simple, as if you can just pop the cell phone though the rubber with a push. The thinking behind this is definitely well thought out so that the solution will go over the spectator’s heads.
9/10
DVD / Download quality: The quality is fantastic like all theory11 videos. Everything is shown and repeated so that you can see exactly how and what is going on. Everything is clearly explained in detail, Dan Garcia gives the majority of the explanation and includes every aspect that can improve this effect. Dan White also gives little tips that further improve the visual aspect.
10/10
This really is an effect that shouldn’t be missed by anyone. CAN YOU HANDLE THE PRESSURE?
Nick R • United States • 03/25/09
When I first saw this effect I wasn't really thinking outside the box. But when I saw the explanation, I was so impressed with how clever this effect was. This effect so far is probably one of my most favorite effects to do and it has definitely made me the most talented guy in school that's for sure!
I would probably give this amazing effect a 9/10 because both the explanation and effect are just both phenomenal to me! I really wish I would've thought of this. And I gotta say, Dan White and Daniel Garcia have really made this effect very powerful and very MIND BLOWING!
Daniel C. • Pittsburgh • 03/24/09
First off, when I started to watch the teaser for Pressure, I was like, wait, what just happened? Did i just see a cell phone penetrate a balloon as it was deflating? My mind started to wonder how that was even a possibility. Then I saw the trailer and everything changed. Now I was completely stumped.
The method is so powerful and incredible. I got the download on Sunday afternoon and by Monday (after working hard to practice it) I was performing and receiving insane reactions.
To me, this is one of the best tricks a magician can have in their arsenal. I love when an effect comes out that is extremely visual and impromptu. That doesn't happen very often, and when it does it is a blessing. Dan White and Daniel Garcia have both just created an insane effect that stumps everyone it is performed on. The balloon can be borrowed and so can the phone. You can even use a deck of cards or a pack of gum instead. People WILL freak when they see this trick.
The teaching method is in depth and covers all of the nuances that can make the difference between "just okay" and "incredible". This effect is a great conversation starter and is sure to be a top trick in most peoples arsenal. One of the most practical tricks on the market that I have ever seen. This is not one of those effects that is over-hyped and doesn't live up to expectations. It exceeds them in all regards.
You would be a fool to miss out on such an amazing item. To me, this is one of the best and only investments I have ever made for magic and am highly satisfied with the outcome. 10/10, five stars, and two thumbs way up!
Jarret • Delaware • 03/24/09
Wow this trick is great! It seems nearly impossible, but it is really easy to perform. The best part of this trick is there are no gimmicks and you can use an item that everyone has nowadays, a cell phone. Great job theory11 team for this one.
9/10

This is a great effect. The demo video made me crazy! This is REAL magic, almost. The method is very easy to learn. The best part it is impromptu - you can use anyone's balloon / cellphone. This is my favorite effect now. Get this one.
Jake L • Phoenix • 03/21/09
Okay, i have to say first of all that Pressure is pretty much the easiest, and 100% the BEST impromptu trick that i have ever seen! The thinking behind it is incredible. I am so glad that T11 has added Daniel Garcia to the team.
Effect (8/10):: Now, this actually is not THE most stunning effect out there. It's just not. However, while it may not be the strongest knockout effect, the beauty of the trick is that it is so relevant and impossible. The spectator is emotionally involved (it IS their phone after all), and they stand there and watch their phone get sucked into a balloon!
Method (10/10):: Now, here's where Pressure completely outsrips other impromptu and even general close-up effects. Yes, this trick is absolutely impromptu, but even IF it did require setup, it would still be amazing. The method itself is soooo simple, and even the sleight involved is not difficult, and is done after the magic moment is over!
If you are at all like i was, you are thinking "There is no way that that trick i just saw is impromptu! There HAS to be some catch." Well, let me tell you. No catch. It really is TOTALLY impromptu. This trick uses ONE borrowed phone and ONE ordinary balloon!
Overall, i would give this trick a (9/10), because it is a great effect, completely IMPROMPTU, and has a fun and easy method. I have been doing magic for a couple years now, and i still find performing nerve-wracking. THIS is one trick i know i will be able to count on to FLOOR friends and strangers alike.
If you are considering buying Pressure, i would strongly encourage you to do so. You will not be disappointed!

THIS IS IT!!!! There are rarely many moments in my life where i fully get excited about performing a brand new trick (excited maybe, but not fully), but after practicing this and nailing it I felt like it had rekindled my faith that there is still alot of amazing magic out there that is just waiting to be discovered :) .
The effect itself is visually beautiful, what the audience see's is exactly what they get. The method is one that i truly love practicing over and over again because i surprise myself each time. And whats best of all it is 100% totally IMPROMPTU!!!
There will be working magicians out there who will have doubts to whether this will really be as practical as everyone says it is, I know cause i had the same doubts before i purchased this effect (as i do when buying any new effect). But after viewing it for the first time it blew all my doubts out of the water. Its as impromptu as Sinful, Indecent and other great impromtu effects if not much more so.
In conclusion the possibilities for this trick are endless. Cards, cans, phones even wallets visually penetrating a balloon.

The long wait is over is and PRESSURE is out, after watching the video and performing it to much success I thought I would write a review for all the fence sitters.
Effect :: First off, Pressure looks amazing. Its a visual stunner. Effect alone I give Pressure a 9/10.
Method :: The method of Pressure is very ingenious and easy to do just ONE sleight is required. There is a clean-up but it will go un-noticed and is done right in front of the spectator.
For those who have Tagged by Richard Sanders the move in pressure will go right over the specs head like the move in Tagged. As a magician however, I thought the Pressure move was a bit suspicious so I wouldn't call it a "magician fooler." But I'm not performing for other magicians so Im cool. I give the method a 8/10.
Overall :: Overall the trick is great its so easy so practical and super visual. You can in fact use any balloon any phone and any object of that size.
it is completly 100% IMPROMPTU there is absolutly NO SET-UP Just one balloon and one phone No secret gimmicks No Switch outs the balloon that the phone is in, is the same ballon that was just in your hand.
Everything is completely 100% examinable you can even blow up the balloon with the phone inside and show it. The specs can also take the phone out of the balloon themselves!
Overall I give pressure a 9/10.
BUY THIS TRICK!

Pressure is an incredible effect. Very stunning and visual miracle. You won't be disappointed. A borrowed cell phone penetrates inside of a balloon.

The whole day I have been constantly returning to my computer to check the timer on the release of pressure. It went to days then hours and finally seconds. I honestly couldn't wait and I downloaded it right away.
I can't give any reviews on the dvd since I got it download form but I can say that the video I watched was awesome. It first went to preformances and the people freaked which got me even more excited.
I especially liked Daniel Garcia's performance with a group of people, it was hilarious. Okay on to the trick. The secret is not what I expected, and I dont think its what anyone expected. It's so devilishly secret I think our good ol' spectators are going to have a hard time figuring this one out.
Its very simple. I think we're going to spend more time on coming up with new and creative ways to do this and less time practicing, although practice will be required to make it look perfect.
You will also notice that it says you can use a card box or even a SODA CAN, and you ABSOLUTELY CAN! It may need more practice but it looks amazing. I would suggest this trick to anyone. Its easy, its visual and 100% impromptu.
Danny and Dan did a good job with this trick and Im very happy I own it. Also I love the bloopers at the end there fricken hysterical.

I was so impressed when I got this. This is only my second purchase from theory11 but I will definitely be back soon. Here's the review.

Effect 10/10 - An amazingly visual trick that has a method easy to grasp, and will make you fool yourself. Everything you've come to expect from Danny.
Overall: 10/10 - Humor, magic, squeaky voiced Daniel Madison, it's all here. Buy it now, and you will add a real piece of wonder to your magic.

There is nothing better than an effect you can do with a borrowed object, especially something like a cell phone. This is one of those tricks that seem too good to be true. DW and DG are awesome for this one.
