I love this effect and it's easy to perform. The only part I don't like about it is that you have to rip it up to give it out for examination. Overall though, it's a nice effect. I perform this TNR because it's very easy and I recommend it.

When I saw the tutorial on the effect I thought it was going to be like TNR but the result was a bit disappointing. The effect didn't work for me when performing for people so I just kept it to performing it for the camera. You'd need to really perfect this effect, especially the restore part, in rorder to amaze your audience. A good thing is that the effect is completely impromptu though.

i was slightly disappointed by this as you can't hand it out after the trick and that it is fairly fiddly. However, it is a good impromtu trick to have in your arsenal.

The best thing is you can do the trick completely surrounded. The ripping is not perfect, but it's a great effect.

By far the best torn and restore card effect I've ever seen. Only one card is used and that's the best part.

I had to laugh when I watched the tutorial; it was like a spoof. This effect is not useful to perform in front of people, just to play in front of the camera. A bit disappointing.

I've been reading a lot of complaints in the forums about this effect, so I thought it would be a good idea to review the trick since I bought it a couple of days ago. To be honest, I really like every step of this effect, but I wouldn't talk until the very last one.

THE EFFECT:
This is a very nice effect, as we can see in the trailer... I'm going to describe it: A card is FREELY selected and SIGNED. You show BOTH hands empty (not explicitly) and tear the card into four pieces. They can see the card torn, they can see the corners of the cards, and they can see the pieces are separated. You then take two of them and in ONE motion, you restore it. The same happens with the other two pieces. You say whatever you want to have a reason to tear it again and you hand all 4 pieces to them. WOW.

THE METHOD:
Even if we can see something in the demo, the method is much more clever than what it seems to be. It's an impromptu method for this classic plot, and it is really convenient when you don't have anything prepared.

THE DVD:
The teaching is very good, a lot of details are given and the camera angles are the best ones for a great learning experience. I miss a "tips" section since I think some more advice can be given, but you'll discover them easily with practice. The quality of the DVD or download, as always with t11, is amazing.

THE PROBLEM EVERYBODY HAVE BEEN TALKING ABOUT:
You have to rip the card in the end. Yes you must do it. Or maybe not? Perhaps force a card and use a dup. It's that simple! I have liked the idea that has been posted in another thread: make different spectators sign the corners and you have a perfect reason to tear it again and give their signature to each spectator.

THE PRICE:
Is it overpriced? I don't think so. 16 bucks is not that much. The other TnR sold here costs $25 and it is horrible. The gimmick breaks really easily and it's not practical at all. This one works better, and it's cheaper. It IS worth buying.

The superb point of this trick is that it is impromptu. This can be performed as many times as you want, and it does not require a particular brand of cards. My only disappointment in this trick is, after all, we have to tear it up again. As the finale, the magician tears the restored card again to clean up, and this time, it never comes back again. If you have any plan to match this procedure, this would be your favorite trick.

Wouldn't really make it my go to TnR effect but it is good to know in case you want to perform on the spot without needing a setup.

Great effect. It's really impressive. But I really wish theory11 gave a full, UNCUT performance of it on the trailer so people like me thought twice before getting it. The price is fine, but the method is really a challenge to pull off convincingly. Got busted loads of times.

Its a good idea, but it isn't something for performing. It's knacky, tacky, and whacky... Anyway, I'm not performing this; not good.

This is one of the worst effects I've purchased. I LOVE the idea, but this won't fool most people. It's pretty obvious what is happening and hard to pull off. Even in the video performance you can see what's going on. Also, not all the moves can be done surrounded. Great idea, some good moves, but still needs work and not something I'll be using.

I love Ref4m. It's impromptu and it can be surrounded. It's great! When I was performing this it really felt like real magic. I truly recommend this!

A really great and impromptu card torn and restored trick. I like it. You don't need a gimmick glue, tape, or even 2 cards to do this trick. It is clean, deceptive and you can do this surrounded by a bunch of spectators. It can be done signed!

At the begin you can think this trick sucks, but after some time you will see that it isn't just impromptu; It's also the most clean and deceptive TnR ever. 5 stars!

Awesomely put together effect. However even with all the ingenuity, the convincers are quite hard to convey to the audience. Lots of stuff you need to iron out before you even attempt to perform this live for anybody.

Wow this is a great TNR because it has somthing most TNRs are usually missing. One of the four corners of the card. With this, the whole card is restored without gimmicks or the help of another card. This is a must buy!

This is an amazing effect, and I was blown away when I saw it. I had to purchase it instantly - can't wait to perform it for others. It works. Period. Any time anywhere and start fixing up ripped cards. They're some moves in there that take a bit of practice but practicing is the fun part :D. It all pays off at the end.
