Magic Tricks

Single Card Straddle Pass by Jason England

Expert card technician Jason England provides 30 minutes of in-depth instruction on one of the most DECEPTIVE moves in magic. The Single Card Straddle Pass allows for a control of one or more cards from the middle of the pack to anywhere near the bottom of the deck - invisibly.

Powerful. Versatile. And completely undetectable.

When properly executed, the Single Card Straddle Pass is completely invisible to the naked eye. In addition to making this move unseen, Jason covers a variety of applications for both magic and gambling demonstrations so you can use it to custom fit your own performances.

Jason teaches how to control a single card to the bottom (or near the bottom) of the deck. Furthermore, he covers the control of a group of cards in a single location and as a group in different locations of the deck. If that wasn’t enough, Jason provides the control of multiple spectator selections for magic applications.

The One-Card Middle Pass has been in Jason’s repertoire for more than a decade - for good reason. What are you waiting for? Step inside and learn yet another powerful utility sleight from Jason England himself.

History: The basic concept of this sleight is very old, dating back to Sachs' Sleight of Hand (1877). In the 20th century, magicians continued to develop and refine the move until it reached it's present-day form. Full history and crediting for this sleight are contained within the instructional video.

Single Card Straddle Pass by Jason England Control a single card to the bottom of the deck. Completely undetected.

When I first saw this video I was worried about the intermediate tag. However, don't be worried, you can pick up the move in 5-10 minutes. The hardest thing to do right now is just to muffle or disguise the sounds as you do the pass.

Other than that, it's great move to add to your arsenal. It's always good to have more than one pass as you never know what you'll use depending on the situation.

Awesome move, well taught, and has lots of applications. For somebody like myself who isn't greatly talented at sleight of hand to pick this up within 10-20 mins I strongly urge any beginner to give it a go. Well worth the money and don't worry about its intermediate title.

Bravo Mr England

For $7 you get a ton of value. Not only do you get a fundamental overview of the concept, but you get a tour through multiple applications for it. I'm happy with my purchase.

This download is one of the most informative I have seen. It is quite like the brick pass but a bit more delicate. Jason England is very easy to follow and complete in his instruction.

Cool move. Not very hard, but you have to get the covering actions down. I have slightly smaller hands, making it difficult to cover the move, but I'm sure I'll get it down with more practice. As always, Jason England is a great teacher.

Jason has done it again. He has to be the best teacher I've ever seen. Within ten minutes of watching the lesson I could do it, and his alternate handling are great, too. Get this lesson! There are so many applications for this move and it's almost completely invisible.

This sleight of hand is old and has been re-invented by many others. In fact, in the first two minutes of the video I realised "Oh... I already use that..." but I knew it under another name.

Even though I knew about it, I learned subtilities and history around the move and now I have a proper video to relate to whenever I need. Spot on Jason, well worth the price. Five stars!

For those wondering, this is a very good utility move that you will use. Perfect to complete your arsenal. Easy to do and learn!

This is a really awesome download! The technique is great, and it is something I will see myself using for sure. The teaching is unbelievable! The move itself is not that hard, but it will take practice. I definitely recommend this download. 10/10.

Jason, the brain of card magic, has taken a concept and brought it forward to modern era. This move is a brilliant sleight that I'll be using in many different applications. Jason teaches well and gives great advice making this an extremely useful utility move.

This is one of those moves where you watch a whole card magic video and it's the one move that you will remember and use on numerous occasions, only in this case I don't have to sit through a load of rubbish, I just get straight into it. Big tick and a gold star for this release.
