I don't do much rubber band stuff but I always have this with me. It's a fun little trick that will amaze the heck out of people!

Impromptu, visual, and astonishing. No need to say more.

Very nice, you can do it anywhere at anytime. Not so hard, but it requires some practice. I've gotten some great reactions.

Stairway is definitely one of the best anywhere, anytime effects!
Eric • California • 03/13/13
VERY visual. Great and easy to learn. A little knacky, but totally worth it for the effect and reactions. Perfect for an opener or to add into any rubber band routine.

So simple and also so good. Awesome reactions.
Tom • Glasgow • 01/10/13
Magic at its best. Simple, angle friendly effect in which you are left almost completely clean. This effect can be performed with ALL borrowed objects and will leave your spectators astounded. I cannot criticize anything, one simple sleight turned in to probably the greatest rubber band trick you will ever see.

Awesome trick! Very easy to do. I just downloaded it and I can already do it without a problem!
Ene Vlad • Romania • 12/24/12

Chong Ren • Singapore • 11/30/12
This is a very simple trick that can be performed anytime, anywhere and it's also perfect for someone who has just started magic. There are no sleights involved and the reactions you get will be priceless.
Ollie • London • 11/23/12
Best trick to switch between a normal deck and an invisible deck. Also it's a great opener, great stand alone, and a great trick.
SL Mell • England • 11/15/12
This is the perfect trick for beginners. It gets huge reactions! Five stars or more!
Patto • Portugal • 10/28/12
It's the perfect trick for people starting with magic.
Arman • Illinois • 10/14/12
Visual, fast, direct, impromptu and examinable. If you're a street performer or any performer for that matter, YOU NEED TO GET THIS TRICK! I have honestly blown so many people's minds with this trick and actually received tips because they just gave me the bill after the effect! It's perfect for the street and one of those type of effects when you're in those "show me a trick" moments. It's brilliant and I love it. You. Need. To. Get. This.
Alex • USA • 10/08/12
This is definitely a great trick and completely impromptu! Marcus is a great teacher and also shows you live performances in the beginning. I did change up how he does it a little, but it's still basically the same trick. For less than $8, this trick is a steal and most spectators let you keep their dollar after the trick is over so it pays you back in no time. ADD TO CART!

Learnt this from Five. Amazing, clean, ultra visual and very simple with no gimmicks. Get it now!
Oli Smith • England • 09/22/12
I learned this of FIVE, the collaborative DVD with Daniel Garcia. But this is well worth the 8 bucks as a stand alone effect. Direct magic, perfect for use on the street or at the bar. Above all though, it's damn near angle proof, uses borrowed items, and never fails to get great great reactions. Simply brilliant trick that I always have ready to go!

Clean, visual, fast, profound, borrowed objects, 100% impromptu and examinable - what more can you ask for?
Definitely is and will probably remain my favorite rubber-band effect to perform. PERFECT as a transition between deck switches.

I think this trick is a great effect that's easy to do.
Steindór Gestur • Reykjavík, Iceland • 04/29/12
I love Stairway! It's completely impromptu, you don't have to worry about your angles and you get great reactions! It's really practical, easy to learn and very effective.
I recommend when practicing not using a bill or a piece of paper just the bands, I find it easier. 5/5 from me!
Pieter Hofstra • Michigan • 04/03/12
I get some of my best reactions from this trick and it's very practical. Thanks for coming up with such an amazing trick!

I've been performing Stairway for a few months now and it always plays incredibly well. It's a beautifully direct, straightforward effect. I decided to write a review only now because I used it today for a really talkative spectator and Stairway just made him silent. He was stunned.
The effect is relatively easy to learn, it's impromptu, and it can be done with other things that aren't dollar bills, which is always fun. I will admit to having done Stairway with two rubberbands and a straw just because it was more convenient than asking for a dollar bill at the time.
I definitely do not recommend using a paperclip, other than for practice, because the effect plays so much more strongly when a spectator is holding onto the bill. Also, I almost never do the ending back-to-the-bottom move, but it's definitely worth putting in the time to learn just in case a spectator shouts it out (which they occasionally will).
Stairway is easily worth the asking price. Pick it up. It's awesome. Marcus, you rock.

A really cool trick. One of my favorite rubber band tricks, and most of my rubber band magic is from Marcus Eddie. So easy to learn and it's angle proof. Overall, this trick is a must have.
Adam • Indiana, US • 09/07/11
Pretty cool, good price. It's obvious somethings going on when heading back to the bottom even on the promo--but it's still a great impromptu effect.

This trick is one of my favorites. I learned it from the DVD FIVE, which was by the way one of my best purchases off of theory11. This trick is not only angle-proof, but the set-up can be done right in front of them! Extremely easy and effective, I recommend this to any type of magician, even if you're not a rubber band guy (I am). Marcus Eddie definitely has a complete gem of an effect. Thank you!
Dan • England • 07/19/11
This is definately my favourite close up trick now after only 20 minutes practice! So easy to do! Completely angle proof and easy to perform.
I get amazing reactions from any number of spectators, not only because it's a powerful effect, but because it's really impromptu and I have improvised alot with using pen lids, keyrings (with keys), paperclips, anything (be creative). All borrowed items, even the rubber bands!
John Mark • Iowa • 05/25/11
I learned this great trick off the DVD FIVE. I wish theory11 would take Marcus Eddie's other two tricks off there and make them availible like Stairway is. Stairway is very easy to perform and it looks BEAUTIFUL. My hat is off to Marcus Eddie for one of the best tricks ever!
Jerry Jimenez • San Diego • 12/21/10
Great effect and freaks people out everytime! Set up can be done right in front of the spectator if practiced enough. Two words: angle proof. Need I say more? Didn't think so.
Jack Darling • Austin, TX • 12/14/10
Saw Marcus Eddie perform this live and my mouth dropped. Pure poetry. Went home and purchased it... within no time I had my roomie and girlfriend screaming. It leaves your eyes wide and your mouth open. This is a beautiful-well thought out trick.
He told me that I would learn this quickly and I did. So I am telling you - NOW - get this trick. You will love it!
Boast • Tunisia • 12/06/10
Simply amazing - the setup is realy easy, fast and can be done in front of them. It's completely angle proof, AND you can do it surrounded. I highly recommend this, it's worth it.
Matt • Maryland • 08/24/10
I was just showing a few of my friends this trick at lunch, but when I finished, EVERYONE in the room was stunned. Very easy and very hard hitting. I highly recommend this!
Bao • Montreal, Canada • 08/18/10
This is amazing. You can do this anywhere, anytime you want. Easy to learn, completely impromptu and angle proof. This is the trick I always perform when I don't have a deck of cards with me.
I give this five stars. I highly recommend it.
