Magic Tricks

SWE SHIFT by Chris Kenner

Though one of the most difficult moves in all of card magic and gambling technique, the SWE SHIFT has been pondered and awed over by expert card mechanics for over 100 years.

If practiced and perfected, it is an incredibly deceptive sleight.

Its applications are endless and its utility is beyond measure. It is often performed incorrectly, due to lack of understanding the proper mechanics behind the technique.

You can now learn the move in vivid detail complete with over the shoulder angles, illustrating Chris Kenner's tips and ideas on the sleight after over 25 years of study and practice.

SWE SHIFT by Chris Kenner Learn an effective card control you'll instantly add to your arsenal of card sleights.

Chris Kenner presents instruction on the SWE Shift - one of the most widely practiced and rarely perfected moves out of the classic text Expert at the Card Table.

The move is so amazing. But for the performance, I can never get the speed right yet, so I have to keep practicing. It truly is a hard move. Kenner goes over all the key points, but it feels kind of rushed.

A great sleight taught by Mr Kenner. The teaching was not as in-depth as it could be for a move of this difficulty, but he goes into reasonable detail. He teaches everything you need to know: how to get ready, how to do the move, how to clean up, and how to cover it.

Mr Kenner teaches a very tiny variation of the shift, which makes it far more deceptive and also easier. His 25 years of practicing this move shows in his teaching.

The move itself is great, and every serious card mechanic should at least be able to half do this shift.

Very good shift. The tutorial isn't the best, but I like this. AMAZING!

An excellent move and a hard move too. I feel that Chris could have definitely gone over the move in more depth though as he explains it quite briefly.

Quite simply, the most perfect pass ever invented. A true classic that should be in every serious card man's arsenal.
