Magic Tricks

Watermark by Mathieu Bich

A playing card is chosen and placed back into the deck - and a napkin is introduced and fully examined. You sprinkle some water lightly over the napkin... and the impossible happens.

Slowly and visually, the chosen selection appears through the water.

WATERMARK is a concept that enables you to reveal a name, card, object, or anything else your heart desires using nothing more than some water and a napkin, tissue, or cloth.

The napkin can be kept as a souvenir and everything is fully examinable. Dan White teaches the trick in 10 minutes of detailed instruction - filmed on the streets of New York City.

"Powerful, easy to do, angle proof, and completely genius." - Zach, theory11 forums

Mathieu is a great magician. He's done some great work but Watermark I would give an average rating. You do get some great reactions and it is very easy to perform. It can be performed right away after construction.
I gave it only 3 stars because for $10 I expected a little more. But if you are looking for a trick that does give you good reactions you should go for Watermark. In my opinion, at $10 it is a bit overpriced.
All in all, it's a "decent" effect so if you like it, you should buy it. At the end though, I was not disappointed, neither was I overwhelmed. Thanks.

I admire Matthieu's work in general, but in this case I have felt slightly misled. Both the trailer and the price made me believe that the trick I was going to learn was how to write with invisible ink on a tissue right under the audience's noses, when in fact the trick is simply how to make an invisible ink.

Given the vast amount of invisible ink methods that exist and have existed for centuries, it is surprising that this should be posted as something sensational and that this price should be charged. I also don't understand all the rave reviews. Have none of these reviewers ever experimented with invisible ink methods when they were children?

Mathieu Bich has a lot of tricks, but this one is one of the best! The gimmick is so easy to construct and you can carry it around with you. You'll get some creazy reactions performing this trick.

AMAZING! I highly recommend this trick! The fact that you can reveal anything with this is awesome as well.

That is an innovation in water and paper magic.

This is an excellent trick. It is absolutely baffling to the spectator. The one drawback is that it can't be performed completely impromptu.

This trick is just insane! It is so easy and it hits spectators really hard especially when they're not expecting it. I have done it in a Starbucks and people just exploded. It's just that good. The teaching is great and the trick leaves them with an examinable souvenir. It's angle proof and completely genius. You need to get this.

O.M.G. so easy to do but extremely hard hitting. All of my spectators were blown away when I performed this.

The first time I performed this trick my audience died, not literally, but almost. BUY IT. So many possibilities not just with cards, but with names etc.

Very very good effect. And as Oscar said, it's ingenious. Freaks the life out of them.

Ingenius. That's the only word that can best describe this effect. Ingenius.
