My name is Andrew Beneteau and I've been doing magic for almost a year now and I've been flourishing for a couple of months. Without magic I would probably play golf and video games every day but now I play golf and do magic every day:)

How did you first get started in magic?

By watching a kids tv show called "spellz" when I was about 8 then after a while I gave it up. Then 1 year ago I watched david blaine's street magic special and I got back into it.

Which artists have inspired you the most in your work thus far?

The artists who inspire me so far are David Blaine because he is the one who got me into magic, Zach Meuller because I love his tricks, And finally Mathieu Bich because his effects my favourite effects to perform.

How often do you practice - how do you keep your skills (and mind) sharp?

I have a deck of cards with me everywhere, the only times I'm not practice card tricks and flouishes are when I'm golfing, eating or spending time with my family.

What advice would you give to new performers just starting today?

"Don't rage if you can't get a trick down"
