Very nice control!
Not deceptive and the "larger motion" only serves to make the layperson feel that something deceptive was going on. Magic should fool the mind, not the eye. The whole move here just 'feels' suspicious, even if you aren't sure what's going on behind the scenes.
It's not good because it's overly deceptive to magicians (which, no offense, won't fool most), but to lay people, the flourishing aspect will be the 'big motion' to cover the 'small motion' - classic misdirection. :) I'm gonna use this!
