- Years in Magic
A few things about me... I'm a former Marine, a foodie and am learning to speak Chinese. I have been doing magic for around 7 years now and am constantly learning and growing.
I love all types of magic but enjoy creating and performing close up the most. If you want to learn more about me, please look me up on Facebook.

If you could have dinner with any magician, past or present, who would that be and why?
That is a hard question. I would probably say David Blaine.. the reason being, we are not too far apart generationally speaking, so I feel we would connect a lot better than me sitting with Houdini or even Dai Vernon. Plus David has enough money to take me somewhere fancy.. and as a foodie.. I love me some fancy food! : )
What advice would you give to new performers just starting today?
I would try to just get a basic foundation going... Take the first year to traditionally train yourself. You will thank yourself later and it will be easier to pick up new material.
I know I am kicking myself now for having to go back and re-learn stuff that would have been easy if I did what I mentioned above.
How often do you practice - how do you keep your skills (and mind) sharp?
Since I work full time, I don't get to jam as much as I would like, but I am constantly thinking of things and keeping my mind sharp. It's not that hard when you are obsessed with it.
I don't jam that much, but when I do.. I jam!
What is your creative process - how do you come up with new effects and ideas?
Sometimes I say to myself I want to do a TnR effect and tackle it that way.. other times it will hit me in a dream or a thought will literally pop into my head. Other times, I will be working on something else and I will make a discover and just turn my focus to that.
