- Years in Magic
Being a painter, poet, aphorist, inventor, magician and polyglot, Kevin Schaller truly personifies the polyhistor, a species rarely found today. He is the inventor of over 50 original magic effects that have been published and used all over the world. Studying psychopathology and micro expression has sharpened Kevin's skills of reading people and made his mind a dangerous weapon. He is gifted with an IQ of 152, measured on the Wechsler Scale.
"I am not one of many, because there is never many of one." - Kevin Schaller
Which artists have inspired you the most in your work thus far?
Arthur Schopenhauer, Georg Heym, Nikola Tesla and Dr. Paul Ekman.
What is your creative process - how do you come up with new effects and ideas?
Creativity is not a computer to switch on and off, it is a way of thinking, of seeing. Everything we see is only our idea of it - our interpretation. Ideas are born, if we see beauty instead of reality.
