How did you first get started in cardistry?

One day, a friend of mine showed me a flourish, and I was instantly hooked on Cardistry! (I was into magic for 2 years before I started flourishing). It was really that simple. I learned some of Chris Hestnes's and Dan and Dave's flourishes and began create videos of my performances. After a while of that, I came up with some of my own stuff and also posted that.

Which artists have inspired you the most in your work thus far?

Tobias Levin, Henrik Forberg, Jack Hernstadt, and Dan and Dave Buck.

What is your creative process - how do you come up with new effects and ideas?

I usually listen to music or watch other Cardistry videos while flourishing, and I get into a zone where I create and practice flourishes like a crazy person! Or I try to replicate another move that I just saw, and sometimes I will create something completely new!

How often do you practice - how do you keep your skills (and mind) sharp?

I practice 4-5 hours a day, somewhere around there. To keep me sharp, I keep updated with youtube and new flourishes that have been released on any website.
