Which artists have inspired you the most in your work thus far?
Calen Morelli, David Stone and Apollo Robbins. I love the creativity of these three magicians and also their performance style.
What advice would you give to new performers just starting today?
Find one trick you enjoy performing and perform it better than anyone else.
What is your creative process - how do you come up with new effects and ideas?
I think knowledge is the key to creativity. If you know a lot about a subject, you will find it easy to approach that subject in a different way. I personally come up with a new sleight and see how I can use that in a routine.
If you could have dinner with any magician, past or present, who would that be and why?
I would have to say the legendary Harry Houdini. The way in which he turned escapology in performance piece interests me and the fact that he is still known worldwide today is incredible.
