I love it! It's clever, it's easy to learn, the method is great, and with practice it can fool anyone! The best part is it's free!

I love this effect. As a comedy magician I use this trick all the time as my opener and people just love it. It works better in a parlor type situation which is great because I mostly perform parlor. I think this is brilliant, 10/10 .

I figured the method was something like this, but he gives a lot of advice to make the trick even better. Gotta love this guy!
Daniel Lenton • England • 11/5/2012
Very clever trick - takes a little practice but once mastered is a very visual effect. It's free!
Arthur • Colorado • 10/29/2012
I agree that it's more of a visual gag but it's fun to do. Easy, but I've still received some laughs and faces of amazement.

Nice trick! I like wearing ties, but never really had much that I was able to do with them magic-wise aside from a tie through my neck or the spectator's neck. This is going into my new set of off-beat tricks for sure!

From the mind of Rick Lax comes a new creation. Fun to do and oh by the way - it's free!
Jason Silberman • Livingston, New Jersey • 9/22/2012
This trick is such a visual, easy to do effect. I love this. Whenever I'm performing casually and the night is kind of over, this is what I do. I take off my tie and blow people away. This effect is also FREE!
Peter • London, UK • 9/21/2012
This is super easy and looks really real. You can have fun for many hours in front of a mirror, making your tie disappear. It's free so why wouldn't you download it?! :)
Jordan • Amystika • 9/18/2012
Cute, really cute.
Eric Stevens • Spokane, WA • 9/17/2012

This is so good.

I think this is an awesome random gem of a trick. It reminds me of Redline a little bit. A unique object, offbeat and something that looks utterly impossible. I'd like to work this into a manipulation routine.
Bryce Huckabay • California • 9/12/2012
Another amazing idea! 10/10.
Oliver Smith • London • 9/12/2012
I remember seeing this on Rick's Youtube Channel a while ago and it fooled me badly. It's great to see it for free on the Wire, thanks Rick!
Arman • United States • 9/11/2012
This is a very awesome little gag that I can tie in (pun intended) whenever I'm at a dance or formal type gathering.
