I love all kinds of magic, cards, coins, anything. I focus mainly on cards, though.
What advice would you give to new performers just starting today?
1. Don't do any trick twice to the same spectator. Why? Because the first time they watch the trick, they are watching it for enjoyment. But when they ask you to see it a second time, they want to see it because they want to figure it out. 2. Be original. Make up your own tricks. That way you will have your own work to show off! 3. Practice. Practice. Practice. That cannot be stressed enough. People don't enjoy and won't hire someone who goes out and drops his deck as he takes it out of the box.
