Really cool effet, the explanation is fantastic, and you can include it in any sandwich routine; BUY IT!
Paul • Scotland • 5/18/2013
Really cool move, I've adapted it to my sandwich routine!
Kenneth Diaz • China • 5/15/2013
This trick is awesomely hard. It takes a lot of practice but it's totally worth the effort! Good Job! Keep it up Zach.
Joseph Brimicombe • England • 5/12/2013
The teaching is good but the move is really hard. This should be a harder difficulty.
Will • United Kingdom • 5/3/2013
This is one of my favourite moves. I have already added to my sandwich routine. It's taught in extreme detail with great crediting.
Vath • Cambodia • 4/12/2013
My favorite effect to perform so far.
Gabe • Califonia • 4/7/2013
I love this trick!!! I bought it because it was rated 5 stars, and rightly so!!!! It is a GREAT move and slight that keeps you up at night practicing!!!! It's worth every bit of the cost! It is hard at first but when you get the slight down, you will be happy. This is the only trick on the Wire that is fun and visual. BUY IT NOW.
Andrew • Florida • 4/6/2013
Great move and extremely in depth teaching. BUY IT!
Iddo • USA • 4/5/2013
Loved the effect! It is very hard to do and takes a lot(!) of practice, but once you get it down you will amaze people! If you are good enough with cards, buy and download now!
Keith Paul • Hobart • 3/20/2013
This effect is awesome. Zach explains everything so clearly and is an amazing teacher.
It's worth every cent, get it!!
Andrew Frost • England • 3/19/2013
HARD but taught well. Unfortunately, not a stunner for lay people but fun to do nonetheless.
Lachie • Australia • 3/16/2013
Love the effect, it opens up sandwich routines so much for me.
Sullivan Case • California • 3/13/2013
This trick is knacky, but it's so amazing. It took me a week to learn but it was really fun. Thanks for an awesome trick Zach!
Tim Weigold • United Kingdom • 3/2/2013
Good trick. It takes alot of practice. If you want a trick that looks very visual this trick for you. Very good price as well.
Chris • Orange County • 3/1/2013
Amazing teacher. Amazing effect. Can't wait for more from Zach!
Gerald Robinson • Denver • 2/21/2013
It's a great move but for spectators, it never dazzles them. They don't seem to care about sandwich effects. therwise, I love the move.
Ben Goodall • England • 2/19/2013
This is such a good move! Zach supplies you with some awesome routines and like he says, it's not finished. There are so many other applications for it that are there for you to explore!
James Martin • United Kingdom • 2/17/2013
This is a big download and 100% worth the price. I found it quite hard at first but once I opened up a new deck, the move was incredibly smooth! The best effect in this download has got to be the grasshopper. However, I also love the 1-2 vanish. A downside to the download is that Zach only went over the pop out move briefly and did not leave links to the move as he said he would. But I still give this 5 stars and I would recommend you buy it :)
Christopher Deng • Hong Kong • 2/15/2013
OMG this is the best tutorial/explanation ever!! Definitely worth the price!! Zach is a genius to come up with this one!
Tom • Scotland • 2/10/2013
Fantastic. A little knacky but so brilliant. Loads of fantastic ideas and two killer routines. Definitely worth the price. The teaching is great and the video is great quality. 5/5
Dylan • Canada • 1/28/2013
Bought this the second I saw it. It's a bit knacky and will give your hands a good work out to get it right, but it's worth it!
Farid Fajer • Mexico • 1/21/2013
A really good sleight!! A little difficult to do at the beginning but with practice looks really visual.
Jordan • United States • 1/18/2013
Amazing trick. So simple yet so visual. I do this trick all the time.
Marc • Canada • 1/18/2013
The Fontaine Move:
It's not easy for people with small hands, especially children like myself, but if you think enough you can figure out a variation that's easier, until your hands get bigger.
9.5/10
I forgot the names of the other tricks, but I can assure you this is good.
Noro • Slovakia • 1/16/2013
I think Why Max is a best trick from this download!
Jhunsel • Brisbane • 1/6/2013
Absolutely love this trick! Simply fun to practice and always leaves a smile on their face!
Dylan • Canada • 12/30/2012
Bought it the second I saw it! Amazing trick! Zach Mueller is a genius!
Joshua • Seattle • 12/30/2012
I love this trick. It's just amazing, for one sleight, that Zach puts so much effort into this, even though routines are included. I thank Zach, and I think that this is one of THE most comprehensive courses in a single sleight, EVER. Buy it.
Abraham Leija • Texas • 12/24/2012
I want to say this is one great download. The move, tricks, and everything explained is great and easy to do. The effects are all workers, although Whymax is not really an effect, it's part of a sandwich routine, but it's nice and the price is right. I give this download a 5/5.
Kenny • Quintana Roo, MX • 12/21/2012
Absolutely one of my favorite downloads on The Wire. The teaching is very professional. It's in HD and has everything that you expect in one of Zach's downloads. Zach's jokes always keep the fun flowing.
Good job Zach :)
Jace • Covington • 12/20/2012
Amazing move! I mainly use this with "sandwiched aces" and the Fontaine effect taught in the download. Either way, this is a very useful sleight!
Philip Alexander • U.K. • 12/20/2012
An awesome move. Took about a day of solid practice to do the move well and to make it look magical. Zach goes over everything in excruciating detail, covering everything extremely well. The Fontaine effect is my favorite to do, because it just looks awesome. The Grasshopper Fontaine is pretty good, and The Fontaine why-MAX is a cool little thing that you can use in sandwich routines. It's Zach Mueller, so the quality is amazing and I absolutely love the move and the effects taught. Awesome. Get it!
Adam • United States • 12/18/2012
Very nice move and great explanation!
David • Maryland, U.S.A. • 12/11/2012
This is a very nice download. Zach could not have done any better on the explanation. The actual move is not difficult. However, while it is pretty visual, I do not think that it is as good as people say it is. It might be that the magic is happening on a 1 by 3 inch surface (where you can only see that much of the card), but it is still pretty good. I think that the price is worth it.
Siddharth • India • 12/1/2012
Zach Mueller is a rising star in card magic. Fontaine is just absolutely awesome. It is 100% worth it to buy.
I love this sleight!
Phillip Gray • Richmond Hill, Georgia • 11/24/2012
This is absolutely exceptional! I had an idea as to how he did it, but I was WAY OFF! Worth the money and worth the time to learn it. If you have 7 dollars to spend, use it here.
John Nathan • Florida • 11/19/2012
I love Fontaine. It's an amazing sleight! It does take practice, but it's all worth it in the end. Thanks Zach for this great release!
Fritz Charleston • Denton, TX • 11/15/2012
I'll come right out and say it, my hands hate this trick. I love it, but my hands are not fans.
However, this is through no fault of Zach, though, as he teaches this as well as anybody could. He is as thorough as any student could hope for.
The effect is amazing, just make sure to put the time in to give it the right amount of flair. Doing this straight with no performance would be dull and be without the "magic."
All the little nuances, the tilting of the hand, etc, are all very important and Zach covers all of this in detail.
And as per usual, for Zach, the audio, video and price are spot on.
Liam • UK • 11/10/2012
One of the best tricks - ever. Fontaine is a quick and visual trick great to perform to anyone. The video had a great explanation, Zach talks you through even the smallest details. The one problem I faced was the finger movement but like he always says, don't give up.
Jahid • London • 11/2/2012
Great move and extremely in depth teaching. Keep up the great work, Zach!
Joan Sebastian • McAllen, TX • 10/29/2012
Wow! Impressive sleight of hand. It's the best card trick I've seen in a long time. With an hour of instruction and being under $10, I definitely recommend it.
Asger Bernsen • Denmark • 10/14/2012
This is awesome! Zach has gone into so much detail with the explanations on this download! The sleight has extremely good angles. This is something that I am going to work on, great job! :)
Neil Luna • Philippines • 10/11/2012
Awesome routine, move and tutorial! Heads up though: If you have "delicate" fingers (or small fingers) flex em up because this move is a little bit of a finger killer.
Jakub SegĂ© • Nitra, SLOVAKIA • 10/10/2012
Thanks Zach. It's amazing! Nice move and nice routines. BUY IT!
Harry • USA • 10/6/2012
This download is amazing! It took quite a while to get the move down, especially because I have a small hand, but anyone can learn this. It goes in good detail for 1 HOUR! BUY NOW
Saad Khan • Athens, GA • 10/5/2012
What a fantastic sleight. I've always been confounded watching Zach perform it and could never figure out how it was done because it's so subtle and invisible. Simply put, it looks like real magic.
There's a lot in this download. Zach teaches the fundamentals behind the sleight before going into different variations and applications for it. The teaching is clear and you get a lot of content for only seven bucks. Easily one of the best downloads I've purchased on theory11. Highly recommended.
Keegan • Singapore • 9/30/2012
First move I'd gotten from the wire. And it's definitely going to be tough for other moves to outshine Fontaine. It just raises the bar that high! It's an extremely knacky move for me, but thanks to the in depth teaching, I'm quite sure I'll be able to get it down soon. Can't wait to see what other wonderful ideas and routines can be stemmed off from Fontaine. As Zach said, there's lots to be uncovered with the move. That said, this is probably the best and most worth while purchase I'll be making for a long time.
Nick • California • 9/29/2012
A very nice move with some cool applications. Nice one Zach!
Liam • U.K. • 9/28/2012
The effect is great and he is right - it is an ongoing effect which you can put into a performance. It was also well explained.
Cheryl • Singapore • 9/27/2012
Are you serious? $6.95 for nearly an hour of teaching while Shin Lim sells his hour-long teaching for twice the price? Zach has been throwing in some ultra-visual, amazing card tricks. This trick does not allow you to perform 10 mins after purchase, and practice is definitely needed. Having said that, GET IT NOW!
Jeffrey • USA • 9/23/2012
Nice trick. Well explained. This trick did take me some time to get it right but all the time was worth it!
Jack Dallam • Louisville, Ky • 9/22/2012
This is an outstanding download. Although the move is extremely difficult to grasp when you start out, it is so well produced and so well explained that it's just a matter of time before you get the hang of it. I encourage you to purchase this, and practice!
Dominic Thibodeau • Quebec • 9/21/2012
Nice trick ! Very well explained ^.^
Jonathan Orr • Oklahome • 9/21/2012
Amazing trick. It's gonna take a while to get down, but it should definitely be worth it
Mike Sorensen • Salt Lake City, Utah • 9/18/2012
I've been doing card magic for almost 30 years. This is probably the cleanest routine of this type that I've ever seen. If you have stubby little sausage hands, it can be rough, but perseverance is key. I love it.
Brian • USA • 9/10/2012
I had bought this trick on accident, but boy was it the best mistake ever. I still have a little practicing to do before I start performing it, but it is one of the best sleights I've ever learned. It is definitely an instant classic that will be passed on through many generations to come and should not be forgotten. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to really add an eye-popper to their routines!
Eric Stevens • Spokane, WA • 9/7/2012
I just received and watched my download, and I must say that Zach has created a wonderful thing. This sleight is indeed a bit knacky, but, if practiced, can produce amazing results. One avenue I explored was to experiment with what brands of cards allowed the move to operate with more or less efficiency.
The teaching was easily understandable, the humor flowed and the HD was fantastic. The Fontaine move is hard, yes, but I know I'll be using this. Thanks Zach! :D
TJ Farrales • California • 9/4/2012
Great move. I love the ingenuity. However, my hands make this EXTREMELY difficult to pull this off. It's not that difficult, it's just my finger and hand size I suppose.
Gavin • USA • 9/4/2012
This is awesome. You can tell that he put a lot of time and effort into this. This is a little difficult if you have smaller hands.
Allan Hagen • Norway • 9/4/2012
Zach showed me the Fontaine why-MAX in person earlier this year, and I loved the idea of the move and the things you could do with it.
If you like visual card stuff and you're not afraid of putting a little practice in (it pays off, I promise), this is definitely for you.
Bryce Huckabay • California • 9/1/2012
This is my review of Fontaine. The Fontaine Move: The move is clever, a little bit knacky, but once you practice it, it looks awesome. 9/10.
The Fontaine Effect: This is really cool, The original effect is awesome and it's really visual. 9/10.
The Grasshopper Fontaine: This is the best effect on the DL. Again, Visual, Amazing, Weird looking, really cool. 10/10.
The Fontaine why-MAX: This is the beginning effect in his YouTube video, I really love, especially the pop-out move! 9/10.
Explanation: Amazingly taught in step-by-step instructional detail. Zach is a great teacher. 10/10.
Quality: Amazing HD, I wanna get the HD camera that he use's! This camera is used in Expose' and other theory11 DL's! 10/10.
Fontaine is an awesome effect that will be passed on for many generations to come. With that said, The effect's are amazing and I give Fontaine a 10/10.
Shin Lim • Boston, MA • 9/1/2012
Zach is possibly one of the most talented magicians out there. He showed me this at Magic Con and it fried me so badly. Can't wait to see more from him.
Four • Stephe • 8/31/2012
Great trick go Zach!
Will • England • 8/31/2012
This is so amazing!
Dylan Ryan • Ireland • 8/30/2012
I absolutely love this trick. Granted, it is tricky to master, however, Zach's teaching is amazing and he goes into great detail to cover all aspects of the trick. One of the best effects I have bought so far.
Giuseppe • Bedforshire • 8/30/2012
I like this effect. Don't get me wrong, the teaching and the effect are great but I don't see myself using this. Maybe it's because I can't be bothered to learn a sleight that other sleights can do just as well. I have to say this is a specific kind of sleight that will suit some magicians but not others.
Louis • UK • 8/30/2012
WOW just amazing. It's of a medium difficulty but well worth the practice. Amazing thank you.
Hi • Unknown • 8/29/2012
It's very good and is just staring you in the face. Clever move and good explanation.
Hastur • Dunedin • 8/29/2012
Easy, visual, and exhaustively taught - Zach truly goes above and beyond what you expect for such a price. Even if you can tell the basic mechanics of the move from the trailer, pick this up anyway, as Zach has developed a plethora of subtleties and variations, all for less than $10.
Joshua Robinson • Australia • 8/29/2012
This is a great trick. I personally am still working on it. Only just started watching the download but loving it! If you haven't, download it now and get practicing!
Tony Chang • NYC • 8/28/2012
This is a must get for anyone who is serious about card magic. Zach has shown me that he has a lot to offer the magic community.
Tommaso Colelli • Italia • 8/28/2012
Amazing effect taught in detail. Download it now! Warpness is the new word.
Bizzaro • Las Vegas, NV • 8/28/2012
I got this in hopes I could use it as an impromptu version of my effect BAMF! However, due to a childhood accident, I can't actually do the move because my ring finger doesn't have full range of motion (same trouble I had with the clip shift). So for those who might have similar afflictions be aware. It is filmed and explained well though, so there is that.
George Lowe • UK • 8/27/2012
The download is great, and the teaching is perfect. The move has so much potential, and I look forward to using it! The video has something for everyone. Thanks Zach! Download it now.
Patrick Kun • Las Vegas • 8/26/2012
When Zach first showed me this move vanishing a card, it totally fooled me. Wait until you see all of the applications that he has on this one. Download it!
Michael Boothe • Arizona • 8/26/2012
I like the ideas that Zach presented in this DL. I think the move has potential for so many other "plots." The move is a bit of a knuckle buster, I still can't get it 100% of the time.
The DL is full HD, and the move is well taught. I like every little thing that Zach included in the DL. I like his "flashy" way of doing magic as well.
You should get this download if you're a move monkey. There is a little bit of everything in this. For people that want to actually make a full routine of the Fontaine move, and others who are just move monkeys.
James Paremain • UK • 8/26/2012
One of the first things that I have bought off The Wire. It is very good and fairly easy. It's a bit knacky and might take a little while to get used to, but when you do, you'll be doing it all the time!
You also learn a great control and applications. It's an hour in HD so the quality is very good. The teaching is excellent. I really recommend this! Well done Zach.
Matt Verch • Arkansas • 8/26/2012
DOPE! I love this Zach!
BAR • ISRAEL • 8/26/2012
THIS IS SO AMAZING!
Bee • USA • 8/26/2012
Amazing, highly recommended.
Filipe • Portugal • 8/26/2012
This trick doesn't belong to the wire :/
It belongs to the magic tricks session!
Amazing job Zack! Best trick on the wire.
What are you waiting for? Download it!
Arman • United States • 8/26/2012
If you haven't downloaded this, then stop what you're doing and do it! This move is great and has so many applications! The tricks on here are great but what you're getting is the knowledge you need that you can apply to your other sandwich effects.
I'm already thinking of using this alongside Tony Chang's Sandwiches. It's so great, I'm speechless by how versatile this move is. I know I'm over hyping this, but it really is a great download for the information and quality of this download.
This is probably the best download: quality, explanation; and effect. So BUY IT!
James Chesmore • Denver, CO • 8/25/2012
Are you kidding me? This is so amazing! I'm still shaking from it's awesomeness. Truly outstanding work. Zach teaches in such great detail and the move is amazingly clever. I have been doing the sleight ever since the download was over - as a matter of a fact, I'm doing Fontaine right now as I'm typing. That's how addictive, visual, and fun this effect truly is. At this point I truly think Zach Mueller is quickly moving past Shin Lim. No joke! If you still have not clicked add to cart, you're insane! Pick it up now!
Jon Koy • France • 8/25/2012
I imagine this being talked about and used as a fundamental move for years to come. This technique is priceless. The world of magic stands... speechless. Whenever you die Zach, the cards themselves cry at the loss of an amazing magician. You will be missed. Live long, and astound us again.
Joel Sandberg • Stockholm • 8/25/2012
OMG! How can this just cost 6.95? It's worth at least $19.99 because the material that is in this download is ridiculously great from the editing, explanation, quality, and the best part is that it's packed with 3 tricks, bonus effects, and some other sleights in extreme detail.
Zach you can proudly be presented as the king of The Wire after this download, if you ask me. I can't wait to see Sinclair and other stuff that you have in your powerful arsenal!
This should definitely be up on theory11 magic tricks section because of the things I already pointed out! Great work, Zach. You are my true inspiration!
Ken Kayne • Rochester, NY • 8/25/2012
Fontaine is one of the best effects I've ever seen in my life. The sleight is so impossible, invisible, I know how it works now but I still don't get it. It's so clean, so smooth. By far the best effect on The Wire. Rock on Zach, Rock on. Can't wait to see more. Buy this now.
Aksel Sichlau Bruun • Denmark • 8/25/2012
I bought this some hours ago and I have to say that this is a REALLY amazing move that Zach created with some amazing routines. You can see that Zach put a lot of hard work into this. This is definitely the best trick on The Wire. I have to say that.

Woah. This is 100% one of the best downloads i have ever purchased. The effects, the production quality, the editing, everything is amazing! Strong method, crazy tricks. There is so much extra stuff to be done with this sleight. This sleight really will go down in history.
Lucas • There • 8/25/2012
This move can really be explored as Zach has shown in the three effects and at only 6.95 This is a steal for such a revolutionary move. Can't wait for Marbles and Victoria!
Daniel Wright • England • 8/25/2012
This is one of my favourites. Zach you genius, hope you do well on here!
The trick is of Medium difficulty but is worth the practice, when you get it spot on you can perform some serious magic!
