A very hard, but fun trick to practice! Great job Zach!
Prajwal Vipra • India • 5/28/2013
It took me a day to get this right.
Marbles is tough to start off with, but once you understand and practice a bit, it's really easy and can be used in practically any routine.
The bonus color change is a joke, but everything else is just amazing.
Also, Zach did an amazing job on the trailer.
Steven • United States • 5/19/2013
This is an amazing move but it will take tons of practice. Totally worth it though!
Paul • Scotland • 5/18/2013
Everything about it is great! It is difficult to learn but it's extremely fun to practice and it's the best pop out move available.
Rick Tesman • USA • 5/4/2013
I bought this when it was released and I still can't get the move down.
Stoat • Paris • 4/23/2013
Great move and I like the fact that some material is added with it so you don't have to discover all the options it gives to you.
The technique requires some patience if you want to perform it, but I think it's definitely worth it if you master it because of the appearances suddenness which looks great.
Daniel Lenton • United Kingdom • 4/8/2013
WOAH - Outstanding price, brilliant explanation, so many variations covered it's unbelievable, and nowhere near as hard as Zach makes out. I love it so much.
Panhavath • Cambodia • 3/27/2013
Great trick but very hard to master.
Joseph Brimicombe • England • 3/24/2013
WOW, insanely hard but entirely worth it. I thought Zach's other tricks were a little too expensive but this is incredibly cheap. A must have for just $4.00!
Nicholas • Canada • 3/19/2013
For me, this pop out move was not nearly as hard as Zach said. This may be very hard for you, but it is SO fun to practice and is totally worth it in the end. Also, the price is low for all of the content in this download and an amazing original move. Buy it now!
David • Maryland • 3/16/2013
EXCELLENT download and by far Zach's best. First of all, the price is clearly reasonable, especially compared with some of Zach's other downloads. The move itself is pretty difficult and takes a while to get it to where you are completely confident in the move but you get a great feeling when you nail it. Even with the difficulty, the long and detailed explanation takes away much of the time that it would have taken with a bad tutorial. It is extremely useful when a pop-out is needed, so 5/5 from me.
Tim Weigold • England • 3/9/2013
Good trick, nice price.
George • Peru • 3/7/2013
It's a trick that I can't stop using. It's amazing.
Gustav • Norway • 3/1/2013
The idea is just amazing! My friends love it so much that they do not want me to reveal it! This is what card magic is!
Tom • Scotland • 2/23/2013
This is a great move, brilliant secret behind it and in the download you learn various ways of preparing for the trick. Teaching is great, but this does take practice. I've had the download for two days and I've only done the move perfectly three times! The colour change isn't one I use very often but it's still a nice little move, on that occasion when done at the perfect angle, it does look impossible. For less than four dollars this is a steal! I highly recommend it to people who like a challenge, but if you give up on things easily you will NOT be able to perform this consistently. I love the move and all of Zach's work. 5/5
Luke • Australia • 2/22/2013
This is so fun to perform! It amazes all my spectators! It even amazes me!
Ben Goodall • England • 2/19/2013
Fantastic little move at a really great price!
xD • Vienna • 2/18/2013
Yep, amazing! Really awesome!
Andrew Salas • USA • 2/15/2013
This move is so much fun! It's not only fun to preform, but also fun to practice. Zach does an amazing job in the video explaining and showing how it works and how to do the actual move. Lastly IT'S ONLY 3.95!!! That is so cheap for an amazing move. Why would you think twice about this. GET IT!!!
Jordan • USA • 1/25/2013
Very nice trick. It is a little hard at first. But doing a week of practice, I got decent at it. The color change is AMAZING. I always show my friends on Skype and their reaction is priceless. Great trick. Worth 4 bucks.
Jon Carter • Kentucky • 1/23/2013
There is a reason this move is intermediate. It takes time to master the amount of pressure needed to achieve this move. When you do master it, however, you will feel rewarded for the hard work you put into this. With a $3.95 price tag why are you still reading reviews when you could already be adding this to your shopping cart?
Noro • Slovakia • 1/21/2013
This is so KNACKY! But I recommended this! BRILLIANT and teaches an unbelievable move!
I've practiced this for 3 weeks! I like this effect.
James Martin • UK • 1/20/2013
This is a great move and I enjoy all the applications included within the download. The teaching is at it's best and all the tips really speed up the learning process. It works good as a standalone effect and it look amazing mixed with flourishes! I wouldn't say the trick is as hard as it's made out to be, it just takes some practice.
Overall it is a great buy and the price is exactly what it should be. I recommend it to all. :)
Shea • USA • 1/15/2013
Wonderful trick! I've been practicing for a few weeks and am really getting the hang of it. Zach is a great teacher; every movement and nuance is taught in detail.
Great deal!
Skipper • USA • 1/10/2013
It's so awesome. So great. So cool.
Daniel Peralta • USA • 1/8/2013
I had my doubts when purchasing this, for this was my first Zach Mueller product...what can I say other than BRILLIANT! This is a move that I will use ALL THE TIME. It's so powerful. Its so visual. And the best of all KNACKY!
Daniel • Michigan • 1/3/2013
Absolutely stunning effect! Zach nailed it this time.
Cullen • USA • 1/1/2013
Incredible trick. The teaching is flawless and the move really isn't as hard as Zach says it is. TOTALLY worth $3.95
Gavin Lim • Singapore • 12/27/2012
I like this effect. It's super fun to play with!
Jace • Covington, WA • 12/16/2012
Awesome pop out move! Zach gives a really detailed explanation. I can usually do the pop out 1/5 times. You have to play around with the mechanics to see what works for you, but the work is worth it. For just $3.95, how can you not buy it!?
Junior • Australia • 12/16/2012
This is a fantastic move that's a lot of fun to practice. The instruction is top notch as expected from Zach. The move even though is stated to be extremely difficult really isn't that hard. I was able to get it about 5 out of 10 times after practicing for only 10 minutes. It's definitely achievable for most. Fontaine is twice as hard in my opinion. Definitely recommend this, it's fantastic!
Anna • USA • 12/14/2012
This is truly an amazing trick. The effect is nice and visual.
Taught with vivid explanation.
Cool color change.
You can think of many ways to apply this to your tricks.
Worth buying!
Great trick for only $3.95
KNACKY!
Philip Alexander • U.K. • 12/10/2012
First off, i'm just going to say it's an amazing Pop-Out move, with great teachings and many applications taught. I'm going to say that it is a bit knacky, but it's definitely not as hard as Zack says it is. Once you get the right motion and the move down, it looks awesome and is probably one of the most fun things to practice. Zach Mueller, you are yet to disappoint. Another amazing download, and its only $3.95!
Rudh Kumar • England • 12/8/2012
First of all, the move itself is fantastic - both for cardistry and also magic. Definitely worth the price.
The move itself is quite knacky however. I believe it's a lot easier than Fontaine. With constant practice, you start to get a feel for the technique.
Marbles has many applications to it from being a reveal to a production to a colour change, which makes it worth the price. the colour change was one of my favourite parts to the move.
Although the colour change is very angle sensitive you can preform it to one person in front and also to a camera which makes it great for cardistry or magic videos.
To conclude, I believe that if you have a reasonable amount of experience with cards, with enough practice it will definitely be worth it.
John • Harber • 12/8/2012
I think Zach is being harsh when he says it causes finger cramps. While it's true it will take a while to practice so you'll be able to perform it, Zach teaches it very well and is definitely worth buying.
Apple • California • 12/2/2012
Go go go, Zach! Your trick is amazing! Thanks, man! I use it in nearly every cardistry performance.
Jeremy • Broken Arrow, Oklahoma • 11/29/2012
Although described as knacky and extremely hard, this is actually surprisingly easy to do once you get the hang of it. The instruction is EXCEPTIONAL. Zach goes over everything in extreme detail with a certain finesse about him that makes you laugh. All in all, GREAT download. Get it and you won't regret the purchase.
Siddharth • India • 11/27/2012
One of the best pop out moves I have ever seen! Even though it's kind of hard, it's definitely worth it.
Bob Smith • Unknown • 11/22/2012
Great move! A bitty knack to start off with, but you get used to it. Definitely worth £2.50! :)
John • Florida • 11/22/2012
Marbles is hands down the coolest pop out move I've ever learned! The method Is great and Zach's teaching is amazing! I highly recommend Marbles. Great job Zach!
Wes Richardson • Ceres, Ca • 11/16/2012
Great move! My hand is cramped up like you said it would be! I'm sure with time I'll be up to 9/10 times like Zach, for now I'm at 1/100. Anyway, the move is great and the explanation was very detailed and covered everything I needed to know about the move. Thanks and keep up the great work!
Fritz Charleston • Denton, TX • 11/15/2012
Some may not like Zach's style of humor, etc etc.
Let me squash that right now. Comedic taste aside, Zach stays pretty focused in this (and all his) download and goes into such detail that he makes sure there is NO confusion regarding the technique.
Also, Zach is pretty transparent with the fact that the move can be difficult. I like truth in advertising. However, it's not that any one piece of Marbles is incredibly difficult, it's the fact that linking the pieces in a natural and fluid performance is the difficult part. The fact that Zach can do the move as smooth as he does is a testament to the work he has put in.
The audio and video are excellent, which should come as no surprise. The price is beyond fair. I think it sits in the perfect price zone for the effect, but deserves more for the explanation and time Zach put in.
In short, whether or not you enjoy Zach's comedic styling or even this move, it's worth the price of admission just to see what a Wire video should be.
Nick • Oregon • 11/15/2012
By far my favorite trick by Zach. It an amazing effect and if perform right, it'll daze spectators like crazy. Unfortunately it's extremely knacky and after 2 to 3 months of practice I can finally get it right 6 out of 10 tries. Other than the difficulty (witch is pretty dang hard) the only other bad thing i can say about this trick is, that's right you guessed it, Zach's bad jokes. But this move is so good I think it worth it to sit through the pain of terrible jokes
Rachel • United States • 11/9/2012
We all know Zach has a tendency to ramble and have fun with words and whatnot. What I loved about this tutorial was that his voice came though, he did make fun of some things like teetering on the brink of death. Or something like that.
But in all seriousness, he did a good job balancing an explanation with a enjoyable feel. I definitely recommend it. For $3.95, it's a steal!
Alex F. • USA • 11/7/2012
OMG! GREAT JOB! Zach, you nailed everything with this trick. The tutorial is hilarious, the move is great, and all the details down to the music are amazing.
Even my little brother, who has become addicted to you and marbles, liked it so much that he bought it. He isn't even into magic at all (he won't stop singing the song in the video though. lol). Also, you teach it very well, and it doesn't seem as hard as you say.
I got it in 30 minutes to the point were I can do it half the time. It was sometimes even on the very edge (OF GLORY!!! (you have to buy the trick to get the joke)) Amazing job!
Scott • Denmark • 10/31/2012
Can't wait to learn this AWESOME move!
c • HI • 10/28/2012
Great video and instruction! This takes practice for sure, but it's not impossible, even for amateurs. I'm having a harder time making the control look natural than doing the actual pop out. :/
This is the first video i bought from Zach, looking forward to more!
Saad Khan • Athens, GA • 10/27/2012
Fantastic move. Looks great and is extremely fun to practice and perform. On top of that, Zach gives a lot of different applications for the move and teaches them all very well. It will definitely take a bit of practice to get the move down, but for less than four bucks this is an absolute steal. Highly recommended.
Thomas • Rome • 10/27/2012
Bought this move three days ago, and I've done it 3 million times just to get it right. Zach, you have done an abstounding job on this move, and I simply love it!
The tutorial is extremelly in depth, he spent about 20min. just saying that he card is supposed to go about ** cards down. If you havint bought this move all ready, then you are missing out a massive advancement in card sleights. Absolutelly worth the $3.95.
Herman Li • Hong Kong • 10/21/2012
Very nice move! Good training for your fingers! Good training for your muscles! And, most important, good training for your patience!
Robbie Hancock • London • 10/18/2012
My fingers hurt so bad, but the move is so fun!
Valdimar • Denmark, Horsens • 10/18/2012
I really love this move because it's like finger training and it looks good. The explanation is wonderful and Zach is a really funny person. By the way Zack, if you're reading this, I want to contact you but I don't know how so if you would have time and send me a message on Youtube, that would be great. My youtube is Jolatyppi.
Cheryl • Singapore • 10/17/2012
Always been amazed by this move. He's right, this isn't a five-minutes-out-of-the-box-quick-learner and does take a lot of practice, but the move is so great it'll pay off!
Dan • USA • 10/16/2012
Totally recommend this trick! Only one question, when he teaches the "Selection from a Spread", what is that move he's talking about? I don't get that. I'd really appreciate the feedback! Thanks in advance! And if you haven't bought it, DO IT NOW!
Ben • New Hampshire • 10/15/2012
Amazing effect. This move is so mind bogglingly impossible that it is clearly sorcery. That, paired with Zach's teaching, you feel like you are a close personal friend - makes this effect a must have. I would buy it 5 times over.
Anthony • Virginia • 10/14/2012
Wow. Really good. Great move, great tutorial, and hilarious. I had to stop at least three times because I was laughing so hard. I love it but it is knacky. Really knacky, but worth it.
Kane • UK • 10/14/2012
Visually nice move and awesome color change. Why wouldn't you get this?
Lenny • Germany • 10/13/2012
5 stars for the great effect. 5 stars for the explanation. The lame jokes suck though! He wastes minute after minute on lame jokes and how he sits in the chair makes it hard to learn. The video length could be reduced by 20 min or so if he would stay focused.
Daniel • Sweden • 10/12/2012
This is an amazing effect with a low price! You should definitely buy this! Zach teaches this very well. 5 stars from me.
Benjamin • UK • 10/12/2012
Very nice move, been looking forward to this one for a long time. Amazing instruction! A little knacky, and you'll need to take breaks between learning it because you might get blisters, but the first time you get it perfect: wow. Amazing job Zach.
azzkikncardz • Philippines • 10/12/2012
Insanely insane move man!! Good job Zach! A must have!
Gerald Baldwin • Malaysia • 10/12/2012
Great utility, I like It.
Bryce Huckabay • California • 10/12/2012
To Michael: Look, I know it is hard to get sometimes. And I know, you won't get it out every time, but that's why you have to practice, and he warns you that it's hard in the description, trailer, and download.
Michael • U.S • 10/12/2012
I did not really like this move at all. It takes some preparation, a lot of awkward finger movements, and you just won't get out the time you have to put in practicing it. I also don't like his jerky motion of his hand. Don't get me wrong though, his explanation is top-notch. Therefore, I would not recommend this download.
Bryce Huckabay • California • 10/12/2012
I love Marbles, so here's what I think of it.
Marbles Pop-Out: Extremley cool, knacky, but really awesome. It does take practice, but it's a very cool sleight.
Instruction: Zach is a really, really awesome teacher! All in detail, easy to follow, understandeble.
Bonus Color Change: It looks very cool, like Harry Potter wizardry.
Applications: You can do Marbles with and ego change, a peek, a dribble, a spread, or just with a card that have.
Conclusion. I love this trick, you will not hate it, I GUARANTEE it! 10/10.
Tommaso • Italia • 10/11/2012
AWESOME! Super detailed teaching! I will master it, I love it.
formula • UK • 10/11/2012
Not as difficult or knacky as Zach makes out. Very cool move that can be done in some situations (minor angle considerations). Not something you will use all of the time but definitely a move you will want to know. For $3.95 I think this is a must for anyone that does card magic, even if it's just for your own amusement.
Michael Y • Austin, TX • 10/11/2012
A really awesome move. Zach is a wonderful instructor and really gives a great in-depth explanation and ideas. A note to those hesitating to purchase: if you are familiar with other pop-out moves, it has a similar knack. I had it down about 1/2 the time I tried after I finished watching the video. It'll take time to master, but if you are used to other pop outs, you may find this isn't too difficult to pick up.
Benjamin • Melbourne, Australia • 10/11/2012
I love this move, very visual and just simply awesome!
Zach is right, the move is REALLY knacky and it REALLY is not comfortable to learn... but I'm determined, and if you like the look of this move, you will be too...
Of course, very well explained by Zach, so there's no need to worry about not understanding it! It's just practice I guess :)
Selvedin Planincic • Canada • 10/11/2012
I'm not doing a lot of reviews but this one worth it, this is such an amazing effect and Zach shows you a lot of different cool variation that you can perform with marble. The teaching is crazy, Zach is talking over one hour to make sure you learn it well.
Zach I want to thank you for creating a such cool move and keep creating other effects ;)
Maren Speyer • Mami • 10/11/2012
I would first of like to say that this is a very difficult move but don't let that deter you.
As with Fontaine Zach goes into incredible detail and will help you get through learning all the stages of this slight.
For 4 dollars this purchase is definitely worth it and I would highly recommend getting this right away.
Bee • U.S.A. • 10/10/2012
I can't help but think that if someone besides Zach had created this, it wouldn't be as awesome.
Josh Staley • Australia • 10/10/2012
This is such an awesome move. Definitely worth the effort and time (not to mention the finger cramps) to master. I've loved this move since I first saw it and it's awesome to finally learn it!
Jacob • Wisconsin • 10/10/2012
Marbles is an amazing trick. Zach teaches it very well, and very clearly.
It is a very difficult move though, and Zach says this. It will take time to master. Zach comments how he has been doing this move for three years and he still can't always do it perfectly. It does take time, but it is very worth it. It's an amazing trick.
Jahid • London • 10/10/2012
Zach it shows how much work and care you put into your effects. I don't think anyone teaches as many applications or as in-depth as you.
Brian • MD, USA • 10/10/2012
Zach, your prices amaze me :)
