Do you call Cocacola "Soda", or "Pop"?

Pop... unfortunately only us Pittsburghians say that. :p

Here's mine.

Where do you see yourself among some of the great magicians out there today? And for that matter where do you see yourself among some of the great magicians that we've seen in the past 50 years.

What are your views on performers who stick with strictly coins or cards?
Should a performer stick with only one subject to gain professionalism, or should a performer study a little bit of everything to have some diversity in their routine; cards, mentalism, coins, etc.

Why is magic important to you?

Do you get nervous when you perform?/ How do you deal with your nervousness?

In your opinion what is the difference between an amature and profesional magician?

How's Danny G's foot?

What is your prefered performance deck?

What is your performance character like?

Regardless of plausibility, if you could create an effect that seems to the outside eye to simply have to be magic, what would the effect be?

When it comes to magic, who is your greatest inspiration? Why?

In your opinion, what is the most underrated area or effect in magic?

If you could perform for any person, living or dead, who would it be and why?

In the last few years of your magic career, has any magician fooled you? If yes, who was that magician?

Who's your favorite magician to watch perform.

Do you watch The Mentalist on CBS?

What is your favorite mental effects to perform, if you do any mentalism that is?

Do you think the quality of these "one trick" dvds has improved over the years, or is the market getting flooded with effects that have no reason being released?

This is a point which was raised in a thread a few days ago, in my opinion it's quite an interesting question.

Why do you believe some spectators perceive magic as a puzzle or challenge? They simply try and work out how it's done and almost seem to miss the point of the magic and just don't appreciate what you're attempting to show them. Is it entirely the performers fault if this happens or is it the spectators?, do some people perhaps have a natural tendency to try and work things out regardless of how they're presented? I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on this issue.

Doug, what books on magic have you read when you first started out and did any of those books lead to ideas that are now effects in your arsenal today?
