Xtreme Beginners is a wonderful starting place.

Afterwords I'd recommend XB 2

Other good dvd's to learn from

The Trilogy
The System
Motion
Generation Extreme (good to me)
The Code

I feel like the Trilogy and the System are really big jumps in difficulty from XB. I mean there aren't that many in between DVDs but I've had a lot of help from the Decknique's community tutorials. If you go to www.decknique.net the Tutorial videos forum has a BUNCH of great cuts, many of which are easier to learn than the ones on the System and Trilogy.

I agree. The System & Trilogy are difficult - but it's doable, I would know as I went straight into The System after finishing what I enjoyed out of XB1. It was a struggle but it was well worth the effort.

You little stalker!
No, get Jerry's Encyclopedia of Card Flourishes. Its rather expensive but it has a goldmine of material. Once you get to a more intermediate level then you can try the system and the code
