We've been working closely with Blackpool over the last few months, and www.magicconventionguide.com has been reporting the Blackpool Convention News, and information in the run up to the event ( http://www.magicconventionguide.com/category/blackpool-magicians-convention-2009/ ).

its great to see some of these names attending blackpool, and I know everyone is pretty excited about names like Dan & Dave Buck, Daniel Garcia, Daniel+Madison, appearing...

btw this is part of a week of circus, magic and variety stuff in blackpool, be sure to check out a 'history of the circus' while your there, its also in the winter gardens from the 13th!

I couldn't make it in the end Joe.

Apparently you can't be under 16 without an adult... which they don't specify on the website. And I don't wanna go around with my Dad... -.-

Their website is truly terrible, I learnt nothing from it.

Sorry. I'm still really annoyed.

I'm gutted I'm not going, me and my friend meant to, but just not happening. I Would of loved to have met DM.
Still a little British session for the people who couldn't go would be amazing. We could jam and have afternoon tea. :D

Yeahh, otherwise I would've been straight there. Apparently there's an error with the registration form and because of the regulations of the Winter Gardens (the fact that alcohol is served), anyone under 16 must be with an adult. The organiser that we spoke to on the phone seemed to understand our disappointment, but there was nothing he could do. It's a legal requirement.
