hey guys,

In the night he comes to something......something......something.
i think it says to decieve and some more stuff but i cant remember
thanks.

Nice poem. Let me recite one of my favorites:

AN OBSESSION...

Silently I stare at you,
You don't know that I'm around,
But I know where you have been and I know where you are bound.
I know where you live and I know where you sleep,
You don't even know me but my love for you runs deep,
I see you in my dreams,
I want me in yours too,
I want you to know and love me,
But there is no way to tell you.
So, this is how it's going to be,
it will and has never changed,
I'll continue to be your stalker,
please don't think that I'm deranged,
I love you but you'll never know 'cause I'm your silent stalker,
and I'll continue watching you,
Well, Untill I kill and fnd another.

Oh! And here is another that was discussed a while back on the forums. I know it by heart and it is one poem composed of just oxy morons...

ONE FINE DAY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT...

One fine day in the middle of the night,
Two dead men got up to fight,
back to back they faced eachother,
drew their swords and shot one another,
one was blind and the other couldn't see,
So they chose the Devil for a referee,
a blind man came to see fair play,
a dumb man came to yell "Hooray!"
A paralyzed donkey passing by kicked the blind man in the eye,
knocked him through a nine inch wall,
he fell into a dry ditch and drown them all,
A deaf police officer heard the noise,
and came to arrest the two dead boys,
and if you don't believe that this story is true,
then ask the blind man,
'cause he saw it too.

Can you tell me who wrote that poem?

Oh! Here is another Poem entitled: The Emo Poem. WARNING: DEPICTS SUICIDAL THOUGHTS AND DISTURBING IMAGES.

THE DARKNESS WITHIN...

Lying in bed, staring at the ceilng
So many thoughts,
wheeling about in my head,
I close my eyes and try to sleep,
my heart cries,
and i'm in too deep,
So many nights I spend,
locked up in this room,
Dark and not a single friend,
It's more like a tomb,
Life is so tormenting,
Maybe death is better,
All my thoughts fermenting,
As I write this letter,
Staring at the blood I've shed,
It will soon be done,
My eyes roll back into my head,
From my hand slips the gun...

Good stuff on both of them. How about this one though? It's three sections but one poem.

The Downfall

It's ten past one, as I crawl to the door
Hung up on pills, from the night before
A problem it is, but it's mine to deal
This isn't something, I want you to feel
A puddle of blood, surrounds all these lies
It was always the truth, when I said my goodbyes
These words are for you, there all I can give
When i'm passed out on the floor, from trying to live
You're an angel with wings, sent to control me
But i'm the devil in darkness... and i'm just so sorry

Guardian's Death Of Two

There is no title, the movie just starts
Two crying people, two broken hearts
Astro Projections of what they would be
Now motionless bodys on the concrete
"I won't say a word, not even a peep
Bound by the laws of angels who creep"
I've seen it before, I know how it ends
The church bells will ring, as they lower them in
And now that an angel has broken a law
I'll drop from the sky and free fall to the floor

The End That Sets The Begining

Let your burdens be mine
And your tears fall free
We'll walk to the end
Where stars meet street
If your legs give out
I'll carry you there
Please have no doubt
Forget all your fear
If my legs shall give
and my back should break
If my mind has had
All it can take
Just wrap your arms, around my neck
My arms still work, i'll pull this wreck
And as flesh and skin, are removed from bone
We both wake up, in two different homes
Now just two people, with no recollection
Of love that once bound, like pure possession

Ah, Hell, I'll give you guys one more...

FOLLOW ME...

Your life is futile,
Can't you see?
So, join a cult
and follow me.
Sell your soul,
and jump right in,
close your eyes,
and embrace your sin,
Feel it squeezing,
Your body tight,
Let it take over,
You know you can't fight,
Into your heart,
Burning it cold,
Now be a good Zombie,
and do what you're told....

That poem is good.

It's a long'un, but it's bloody good.

T.S.Eliot (nearly spells toilets backwards, for those that don't know this sort of thing)'s poem, The Hollow Men

I

We are the hollow men
We are the stuffed men
Leaning together
Headpiece filled with straw. Alas!
Our dried voices, when
We whisper together
Are quiet and meaningless
As wind in dry grass
Or rats’ feet over broken glass
In our dry cellar

Shape without form, shade without colour,
Paralysed force, gesture without motion;

Those who have crossed
With direct eyes, to death’s other Kingdom
Remember us—if at all—not as lost
Violent souls, but only
As the hollow men
The stuffed men.

II

Eyes I dare not meet in dreams
In death’s dream kingdom
These do not appear:
There, the eyes are
Sunlight on a broken column
There, is a tree swinging
And voices are
In the wind’s singing
More distant and more solemn
Than a fading star.

Let me be no nearer
In death’s dream kingdom
Let me also wear
Such deliberate disguises
Rat’s coat, crowskin, crossed staves
In a field
Behaving as the wind behaves
No nearer—

Not that final meeting
In the twilight kingdom

III

This is the dead land
This is cactus land
Here the stone images
Are raised, here they receive
The supplication of a dead man’s hand
Under the twinkle of a fading star.

Is it like this
In death’s other kingdom
Waking alone
At the hour when we are
Trembling with tenderness
Lips that would kiss
Form prayers to broken stone.

IV

The eyes are not here
There are no eyes here
In this valley of dying stars
In this hollow valley
This broken jaw of our lost kingdoms

In this last of meeting places
We grope together
And avoid speech
Gathered on this beach of the tumid river

Sightless, unless
The eyes reappear
As the perpetual star
Multifoliate rose
Of death’s twilight kingdom
The hope only
Of empty men.

V

Here we go round the prickly pear
Prickly pear prickly pear
Here we go round the prickly pear
At five o’clock in the morning.

Between the idea
And the reality
Between the motion
And the act
Falls the Shadow
For Thine is the Kingdom

Between the conception
And the creation
Between the emotion
And the response
Falls the Shadow
Life is very long

Between the desire
And the spasm
Between the potency
And the existence
Between the essence
And the descent
Falls the Shadow
For Thine is the Kingdom

For Thine is
Life is
For Thine is the

This is the way the world ends
This is the way the world ends
This is the way the world ends
Not with a bang but a whimper.

That was a great one! Thanks:D
Although... I did have one problem with it... when it said, 'this is cactus land', I suddenly imagined a colourful happy place with dancing cactuses, and loud happy music. Kinda ruined the mood, don'tcha think?

Haha, I know exactly where you're coming from there.

This is turning out pretty good. I love the stuff i've read. I'll add one of my Favorites.

I Understand What True Pain Is.
Waking Up Without A Soul;
Existing Forever, But Always Alone.

I Know Where Sorrow Is Born.
In Icy Depths Of Mans Empty Heart;
His Spirit Of Love To Tear Apart.

I See Misery In Every Face.
Knowing No Mercy, Nor Joy, Nor Peace;
Only Death Can Bring Them Ease.

I Hear Lothing In Every Word.
Every Breath A Burning Pain;
Lies, Deceit, And Wraths Distain.

I Feel Hate Inside Mankind.
Rotting Filth, Desease, Decay;
In Their Defense, Nothing To Say.

I Taste The Rotting Flesh Of Sin.
Toxic Putrescence. Bitter And Vile;
Evil By Nature, The Mind Of A Child.

I Am The Truth In All You Feel.
My Humanity Stolen, Compassion Is Gone;
I Am That Which You Know Is Wrong.

I Am In Misery And Darkness Complete.
Knowing No Other Than That Of My Soul;
Destined For Solitude, I Am Always Alone.
