In the not to distant future
By venue I mean: The scene or setting in which something takes place (for example your performance).

Ok, I perform at a restaurant/pub. not walk around, but an actual show.
I usually perform for adults.
My performance style is unique and actually connect and talk with the audience.
I already am booked. so i'll answer that one later.
As often as it takes to get it right, and then twice that much.

* Outlet malls, busy sidewalks, parks, school.

*All Ages

* i do simple, hard hitting, straight to the point magic so it stays easy and fun for the spectators

* Because almost everything I do Is Off the cuff and can still blow away the audience into next week.

* I don't have a set show seeing as though I don't play the stage, but if you mean how much i practice before i go hit the street I would say about 1 day in advance.

Hmmm, I don't think I'm classed to answers these yet. I will be performing at a formal event in a month and a couple weeks though. To answer the practice one though, I practice with cards for 4hours + a day, but for the event, I have been practicing specific tricks for around 2 hours a night.

Mostly private parties with the occasional larger event.

What are the demographics of the audience you tend to perform for?

Mid-twenties to mid-forties generally.

What makes you different to every other performer?

I offer a mythology, a world view. And many of my shows can teach you something about your self.

Why should people book you for a show?

See above.

Which venues do you perform in?
For free performances, you can catch me at the mall, school at times, restaurants, or local hangout areas.

As for my paid gigs, I have performed at:
House/private parties (including two children's birthday parties), restaurant walkarounds, corporate events.

What are the demographics of the audience you tend to perform for?
I tend to stray away from young children. At most of my hired events, I have performed for young to middle aged adults. I prefer this age range because I specialize in close-up card work; I need my audience to understand what's going on/be able to follow the plot of the tricks and routine.

What makes you different to every other performer?
My personality, the way I present myself and my "big bag o' tricks" and relate to the audience.

Why should people book you for a show?
I turn all non-employers into frogs.

In all seriousness:
Because I can present an original, unique magic experience. I know that sounds cliche.

How often do you practice your show?
I walk through different routines a few times a week.

I was kidding about that. I had already posted the real information.

No worries! Just seems like a pointless idea to lie about something! :)

Anyway, my turn:

Which venues do you perform in?
I tend to work for charities, restaurants, bars, hotels, weddings, cabarets, private parties and theatres.

What are the demographics of the audience you tend to perform for?
I used to work for children, but mainly adults and the older generation.

What makes you different to every other performer?
The different personality and performances style I have with the effects I perform.

Why should people book you for a show?
Hopefully because others have recommended me.

How often do you practice your show?
My show is not fully ready at the moment, the only thing ready really is for me to stroll around performing magic, I have been too busy with the final year at university.

Which venues do you perform in?

Bars, clubs, purpose made corporate events venues - You know the kind I mean :s

What are the demographics of the audience you tend to perform for?

Tend to be 25+ business people as I work higher end corporate do's mainly. Outside of that, I do a fair amount of Alt gigs, stuff like Alt art exhibitions, steampunk parties, etc, so it's the tattooed and long haired lot!

What makes you different to every other performer?

Style. I work hard on getting everything to be perfectly logical and work with my character, also, I do different material to most other performers as it's mine :p

Why should people book you for a show?

I offer professionalism and help the organizers work what I do into their events, also I price myself well and most of all I make sure that every one leaves with a real buzz and something special to remember said event by.

How often do you practice your show?

It really depends... If I've got to run my stage act I tend to practice it a fair bit running up to an event as I make little changes every time based on my last performances, with my close up stuff I practice all the time as I perform all the time... outside of performance I don't really stop either... Occasionally I watch DVDs too... Argento is my other love.

D.

Which venues do you perform in?
Street, mainly street, I am starting to get into parlor, and stage.
Escapology

What are the demographics of the audience you tend to perform for?
Teens, to middle age adults. (Thats what you mean right?)

What makes you different to every other performer?
My style. I like to Think of it, as new age, not cocky, but makes friends with everyone. And everyone seems to like it when people are nice to them! But Down to earth, and has style, and a strong personality, that you can see right away.

Why should people book you for a show?
Because, I love... LOVE making people smile. I try my absolute hardest, to put thoughts in peoples mind that rarely anyone thinks about.
Like. "There is no way", or "How did I do that? I mean, seriously how did I do that?"

How often do you practice your show?
I practice every day that is possible, minimum I ran through all my show types one time a day, or try to.
I also perform them all the time for people on the streets when I busk.
And just random sleights and tricks, I practice as I watch TV, drive, (just kiding)
Or riding some wear. ect...

I fell like I have to prove I am a magician. Why is this?
