Looking for new magic books

I have been looking to buy some new books on card magic/ close-up magic lately. I usually do card magic but I wouldn't mind expanding a bit.

I am really interested in the more old style of magic and as a result am looking highly into Vernon material.

So here are a few of the things I was looking at if you could give me thoughts/reviews and/or other reccomendations that would be great!


Essential Dai Vernon

Revelation Dai Vernon

Carney on Palming

The Classic magic of Larry Jennings

Bill Goodwin DVD when it comes out.

Biography of Dai Vernon ( I know it doesn't teach magic but it looks interesting)

I am practicing right now but I am also very selective I don't use everything in each book I buy.

Dmagic- as far as books and DVDs go I have By Forces Unseen, Impossible Card Magic, Erdnase and the Wesley James 7 DVD set on Erdnase.

Card Control by Arthur Buckley
Expert Card Techniques
Paper Engine by Aaron Fisher
They are very useful books in which I enjoy reading and learning as well.
