Patrick Swayze, hearth throb from the 1980's and star of movies like Dirty Dancing, and Ghost died today peacefull in his home at the age of 57.

Shouldnt be. He's been sick for a long time.
I always hoped he pulled through. But at least he died peacefully.
I had no idea he was so old. I figured he was 47, not 57. It's sad to hear. I think he had pancreatic cancer if my memory serves correct. Poor guy, I had a friend who died of that, and I don't beleive it was peaceful. They'll both be missed.
As much as I liked Swayze and wish him peace, I do not see how this is relevant in a Magic forum.

a lot fo people remember ghost...i'm a "roadhouse" guy myself....i was a big fan of patrick and his movies....
Yeah, Patrick was a good man.
He also lived longer then most with prostate cancer. He will always be remembered as one of the greats.

The most devastating death of all is Cancer. I lost my russian teacher in august for it.
She was that kind of a teacher who actually participated in our class doings(skiing trip is an example). I still cant get over it and i think i never will since this was my first death.(well my grandmother was the first but i didnt understand anything and i didnt see her alot). Best teacher i could have wished for.
There is a saying, "If anything else doesn´t kill us, cancer WILL!". I wouldnt wish the pain to anyone.
