Hi arto, welcome to T11! Good to see you posting for the first time.
Honestly, I know a lot of people will ask, "What is your skill level? What have you mastered?" as first questions, and I see you've tried to answer that, but I think that's pretty useless, largely because most magicians are absolutely shocking at judging their own skill levels, and usually overjudge themselves.
So, that said, I'll simply comment on some of the products that fit your description: magic DVDs which teach a compilation of effects.
There are three which fit this profile: Trilogy, Dangerous, and Symphony.
I don't have Symphony, but I've heard good things about it. Have a dig around in the reviews section for good reviews on all three.
I strongly dislike Trilogy. I feel that the nature of D&D magic suits itself for performances for magicians rather than laymen. I feel that their construction of card magic is inherently flawed, and that they quite simply, through their visual style, leave very little room for achieving true magic.
I'd rate Dangerous a bit better. Although d+M doesn't seem to be big on the whole "talking" thing, I feel that the effects on Dangerous have much more potential. Moreover, there are lessons to be learned from Dangerous that extend beyond how to perform sleights, which, as any decent magician would know, is far more important.
So purely on your criteria, I'd go with Dangerous.
