Okay, just wanted to say that I have a real problem with people reffering to athiesm as another form of religion.
It's not, because our beliefs change based on evidence and fact... if we were presented with dinosaur fossils dated 5000 years ago, or if god literally showed himself instead of talking to dehydrated desert nomads, we'd say the bible has some credence.
But religious people just say that their book trumps everything.
And people get SO heated over such silly things, why is it such a big deal to accept that evolution is a fact? why can't it just be evidence of the "glory of god". Christains have made so many other rediculous loopholes for themselves, like NOT stoning their kids to death, or finding explainations for the fact that jesus apparently died with two different versions of his last words (actually there are three accounts, but one can be argued fairly), so why can't this just be another one?
We don't have ignorance like that nearly as much in canada.
As for you christians that have some semblance of reason... and think more about message than literal interpretation, they need more of you in the US.
Anyways, this thread needs to be closed, this kind of thing never leads to a civil discussion.
