hey guys i'm redoing my room, to an extent, and i would appreciate some ideas for what i could do to make it magic themed and so forth, full of magic stuff. i already a deck of cards laid out under the glass on my desk.

but some ideas i have are. painting it like a dark red. and hanging up some posters

either from penguin. or here

maybe even laying out some bikes in uncut sheet order in a frame, (i cant afford a real uncut sheet)

and sticking cards all over my ceiling all crazy like

i'm really excited to get going with this, your ideas are super appreciated!

You could paint one of your walls like a back-design of some playing cards.
The easiest would probably be Massa-design.

Just a black wall, and then some gold stripes, and suits.

You could hang up some signed David Blaine posters (doesn't have to be signed, but it is pretty awesome if they are).
They are fairly cheap at his own site, and you can get all 7 for 200 $ http://shop.davidblaine.com/products/a-1-7-completed-set-of-all-6-posters-autographed

You could make a table like the one at 2:06 in the Daniel Madison's Dangerous trailer http://www.theory11.com/tricks/dangerous.php
A glass plate and a lot of playing cards in their boxes as legs.
I think it looks pretty cool. If anything it opens up for some conversation.

Paint a big king of spades on one of your walls, maybe a little tilted, and some other smaller cards behind it. A king of spades from Dan and Dave's Smoke & Mirrors cards is a lot easier to paint than one from all the other different cards, because it is simplified and doesn't have as many colours.

You could buy Robert Haas's Ghost Shelf http://www.penguinmagic.com/specialorderproduct.php?ID=9785
I am sure you will get some questions about "the suspended books on your wall". And it looks really cool.

These are things I have thought about doing myself. And I probably will sometime.

You probably don't have an uncut deck, but if you manage to get your hands on one, make sure you do :)

They look great framed on a wall, and I think it's perfect for what you're looking for.

yeah tumbleweed, i looked at buying one from E but, there a smidge cashy. and its only E decks, so i was thinking i could just buy some cheap bikes and make my own uncut sheet. except. cut.

and i really want ot get some magic posters, i love the idea of getting the blaine autographs, and the posters in the link i posted are cheap. and way better quality than if i blew up a computer image...

bumping this as it nears completion.

i gotta say, i'm really excited. its not quite the magic extravaganza i was hoping for, but its a big step up from the nursery look my room use to have.

T11 sent me an uncut sheet of propagandas for free thats what that shipping notification was, its currently at the book store being framed.

i didnt order any posters (i still might, i had forgotten about the blaine posters gonna have to check that out again), but i did paint it red, and i painted the doors and trim black.

i'm thinking off using an overhead projector to paint a 3 of hearts onto my closet door. but that might not happen, we'll see.
