IMO, no. If you're just starting out I'd highly recommend Genesis to get down the rudiments first. I started with Dangerous and had a hard time at first. Once I got DM's material down though I moved on to the Trilogy. I still have a hard time with some of the material on the Flourish dvd.

Man, like above, I started out with Dangerous, and then bought the trilogy. Now, over a year later, I still am not good at any of the stuff from the Trilogy.

Genesis however is a PERFECT place to start and I learned a TON from it, even now. I REALLY reccomend starting with Genesis.

I tried to start with Trilogy and it was a mistake for me. Way too hard for me as a beginner. I'd stick with something easier to build your basics.

I started out with the twins too. Then went to D+M. Most stuff looks cool but very hard to learn. I do Sybil in the rain, Madonna and I think three of the molecule 4. Have not yet gone any futher with the flourishes.
