Hello everyone,

I already know the SWE shift from Erdnase and I'm practicing it right now. I just wanna ask if there's a difference between Erdnase and Chris Kenner's method? If so, is it something worth for me looking at, even then I already can do the one from Erdnase?

you are doing fine just keep practicing that one....Kenner will teach you the SWE Shift but he will also be " illustrating his work, thoughts, and ideas on the move after over 25 years of practice"....So essentially no.

Whether it's a true difference is a debatable point, but Erdnase says that the shift "may be made with the hands stationary" and Chris Kenner, along with most other people who demonstrate or teach the move, uses a covering up-and-down movement of the hands.

Yes, but with Chris Kenner's method the shake of the hands makes the move look unnatural and I would rather practice the "Harder" SWE to make it look more natural.
