Where is your index finger during a pass?

Where is your index finger?

Today I was playing around with the pass, and usually I have my index finger curled underneath the deck. But this time I had it, around the front of the deck and resting on the top. And I did the pass, and it felt different. It almost makes the pass faster, by having the deck square faster.

Anyway this made me think, where do you have you index finger when doing the pass? By index finger I mean the one on your deck hand.

I like curled around front... Well I wouldn't say curled, but just out front... I use the method in Chad Nelson's Riffle Pass... I suggest that anyone looking to improve their pass gets it... I don't do the riffles, i just use it for my pass....
