Can someone please tell me the difference between the two? (Ivory and Cambric)
I've handed Aladdin 1001's so if one of those is like that, you can assume I'll understand that.

Thank you and happy new year to everyone on t11

The Acorn backs are very stiff. Whether Cambric ir Ivory. They will feel more like a thick stocked steamboat than an aladdin.

Depends on what you like really. I like stiff springy decks for some things and softer decks for other things. The Irony is that I prefer a softer deck for gambling stuff...ie the stuff you learn from Erdnase...and stiffer decks for in hands type stuff. Thus, in blending the "character" of the deck with its performance characteristics, I actually prefer the "Expert at The Card Table" Bee's printed on the Bee Aristocrat stock to the Erdnase printed on the Bee Casino grade stock. I have not really put the CA Erdnase cards through a full review yet but I have futzed around with them a bit and I think I will like them....though not for Gambling Demos. Also, for me(mind you I have smallish hands), If a deck is really stiff and springy it helps if it is thinner. Steamboats and 605s are great because they are thinner than a Bike and yet much stiffer. Piatnik Clubs, same stiffness as Steamboats and 605s but the same width as a bike, were much more problematic for me to handle. The CA Erdnase are similar to Piatnik. Might not make a difference to someone with larger hands. Hope that helps.
