Hey, I'm getting more into rubberband magic and almost all rubberband magic uses size number 19 rubberbands. Though when I go to some local stores some stores say #19 rubberbands, and other stores say size 19 rubberbands. My question is, are they the same? Or what's the deal with that? On the ones that say #19 rubberbands, nowhere does it say anything about size, it just says, #19 rubberbands. Same?

I actually like size 18, for my linking RB, I use a 19 and an 18, you might want to get some of them too and try them out.

Check out OfficeMax...They have a box of (can't remember exactly how many) a TON of blue #19 rubber bands that look just like the ones Calen uses in Transit. They are also latex free which means they stretch WAY further than a normal band which, in turn, makes a lot of moves a whole lot easier to accomplish. It was like $6 for that box and I think I could make that box easily last a few years, honestly.

I use size 19 in all of my rubberband effects, they fit my hands perfectly. Marcus Im already excited for the DVD and will be on the lookout for it, I have only seen some of your effects but I think your effects are brilliant and am very excited to see a fulll DVD of them.

Unlike what R.K. Magician said, the reason they're stretchier isn't just the fact that they're non-latex. That's just a plus. These bands are originally designed for hospitals and are mass-distributed to them due to their high-quality and latex-free properties. A box could last you a while, yes, but if you're getting serious and plan to do busking/table hopping with them, get a bag. Bands go by quick, and don't bother trying to make them last slightly longer. I'd also recommend picking up a bag of size 16 bands here (http://www.dykemarubberband.com/stationery_rubber_bands.php). The majority of effects I do use size 19 bands, however, a few use one size of each (in particular, i find the size 16s better for broken and restored bands since they're just faster to break, and I also use one band of each size and color for linking effects to better see the difference in the two).

EDIT: I just realized something. On the page linked above to dykema, before you click buy now, it says the contents are 1,450. It's around 1,750 - that's just a mistake.

Dykema Rubber is where I bulk order all of my size yellow 19's. They are awesome. You get enough to last you years for $20 bucks. I normally will buy a 2 lb. box and then split it with another guy in my IBM ring.

I've noticed you like to call me out in a lot of my posts. Care to explain what exactly does make them stretch further? Because I pretty sure the absence of latex is what causes a further stretch. Danny Garcia told me that, along with the people at officemax and a few others.
