Do I Have Permission To Do This?

So guys, Friday I am going to talk to my girlfriends cousin. He is a tattoo artist. We are going to come up with something and if we have time on Friday, I'm going to get it tattoo'd then.

Here is my question - I want to get the joker off of D1IE tattoo'd (not sure where yet). Would this be legal? Or do I need permission from JB or Homer before I do it?

you dont need permission for a tattoo. Its respectful of you to ask, but as long as your not using it to sell anything you dont need permission. Your not profiting from it. Now if you were showing it off on national tv that might be different, but its no different than the hundreds of people with random tattoo's of intellectual property. I friend of mine has a family guy tattoo of Peter and the Giant Chicken fist fighting, and he never thought about permission.
