In years past, in order to raise money for Relay For Life – an event sponsored by the American Cancer Society – I sold a download of one of my original card tricks. Much to my surprise, it was a smashing success, and I raised over double the amount I was aiming for. This year, I’m excited to do the same thing. In video format, you will be able to learn one of my favorite original tricks - and at the same time you will be donating to a noble cause.
Relay for Life is an event sponsored by the American Cancer Society. The event is to "celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease." The event represents hope; we will not forget those who have lost their lives to cancer and those who have cancer will always be supported. The biggest hope is that cancer, one day, will be eliminated. "At Relay, teams of people camp out at a local high school, park, or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event. Because cancer never sleeps, Relays are overnight events up to 24 hours in length."
