What's the name of this card/revelation trick?

A spectator picks a random card from the deck. The magician hands him a piece of paper and the spectator writes down the chosen card value and suit and then burns the piece of paper. The magician takes the ashes of the burned paper and rubs them against him arm and the card value and suit magicaly appear written on his arm.
If you have any idea, please tell me.

There are a couple variations on this... The first two to come to mind are Brad Christians in his How To Do Street Magic DVD, and I've seen DM do a version that I believe is his from his Burn notes, but might have just been a random performance.
