Bottomless by Vladislav Petkevich

Hello,
Was just checking my computer before school, and noticed this effect on the Wire:

I can't help but notice that in MY eyes, it looks EXACTLY the same as Daniel Garcia's method for "On The Rocks" from The Daniel Garcia Project #6.

Can anyone confirm or deny this?
I definitely don't want to spend 5$ to learn I'm correct, I would rather be proven wrong by someone who also has Projects, or atleast a working knowledge of its content, and this as well and can tell me whether or not it's different in any way.

If it's not - how on earth has it been approved?

Hi,
I was not aware of DG's trick up to now! But the effect was approved bu the Wire team, so isn't it original? I don't know the secret of "On the Rocks", but if the methods are similar I will definitely include D. Garcia in the special thanks section.

Hi,
(...) the effect was approved bu the Wire team, so isn't it original?

There's been several cases of effects being approved that turned out to be unoriginal. Some borderline obvious.
One kid had a snap and restore rubberband trick get approved and was even making money off of it. And yes, it's the same snap and restore rubberband trick you learn and/or taught yourself when you're a kid.
That was LITERALLY the most unoriginal effect in the 21st century - and that was approved.

If the method is what I think it is - and I see no other alternatives (of which, if there is - I am truly impressed and apologise) - it is in fact DG's.
