No Experience

Hi, all

I would love to start working in magic but i have no idea how to start. All the advice i've heard or read assumes you already have working experience, website, showreel. (none of which do i have)

So my question is how did you start? what was your first gig and how did you get it?

My friend and I got our first gig by walking into a restaurant, asking to see the manager and acting like we knew what we were doing. The third place we visited gave us a trial night, then took us on weekly.
