I am at work so I cannot have any audio, so I wont comment on the tricks since I cant really hear whats going on.
it looks like you took the advice from the previous thread about lighting and backround, and I have to saw its much easier to watch and my attention is definitely on the actual performance, where as the older video was very busy and hard to focus on. so from a purely video technical side of things, its looking a lot better, ill have to watch this again when im home with audio to really comment on the performance though.
