Hey guys! Hope you all are enjoying your weekend so far!

The challenge for this weekend is to capture the main part of your favorite card flourish in one picture. At what point in the entire move do you think the flourish looks its best and has the most impact? Take a still image of that moment. In addition to getting that shot, judging criteria will be based on the artistic style of your photo. This means composition, lighting, color, and setting. Incorporate all of these together to bring your style through your cardistry and show the world your perspective. Whoever does the best job of utilizing these elements in their photo will win.

Each members is allowed only 2 entries. Upload your pictures via Instagram and hashtag them with #theory11. Then, post the link to your image(s) in response to THIS forum thread by no later than 11:00pm EST tomorrow, Sunday, October 1st. Once time is up, our panel of judges will go through all submissions and decide on a winner. We also want new photos for this contest. Anything that was shot before the posting of this contest is not allowed and if entered, will be disqualified.

What can you win? 1,000 Elite Points, a deck of Gold Rarebit Playing Cards, and a deck of Gold Monarchs, shipped on the house, anywhere in the world.

Good luck!

Turbine by Andrei Jikh has been my favorite flourish for a while, and I thinks it goes well with this quote:
"Control is to dance on all of the lines that you do not cross. As well as those that you do." by D.M.

And its funny how you can see someone's emotions by the way Turbine is performed, I mean, you can do it by the flow of any flourish, the moves and motions are affected by the emotional side, but turbine looks especially expressional.

Since this flourish is almost always portraied as funny and happy, I tried to portrait in a somber, moody way, that is how I was feeling today, contrasted by the beautiful sunny day that was outside.

I think I've wrote a lot, I'm sorry :D I was inspired. Good Luck everyone, a lot of beautiful entries!!
