Hey Krissy,

Intriguing, but I always feel dissapointed with these types of trailers. They rarely leave me feeling like it will work out the way it’s marketed.

And usually the effect leaves me the same.

I'm actually pretty curious now too!

They do cut out a lot of the full performance in the trailer, which makes me believe it isn't completely in the spectator's control 100% of the time.

I agree. The format and brevity of the trailer makes me cynical.
Although it advertises "borrowed deck" I have a strong suspicion there is stack (a slug) and the "deal down to" is a matter of counting based on the value some [set of] key card(s). Judging by the situation the trailer shows the spectator is in just prior to the reveal leads me to this thought.
There is, very likely, no new technique here. But the handling may be something unique enough to warrant the small investment.
