To anyone who owns Scarne on card tricks.
I have a problem with trick 37 called Perplexity. After the book tells me to put the selected card on the bottom of the pack and turn it over to show that it is face to face with the bottom card, it tells me to flip the pack again and then cut the cards. But this last cut reveals the secret of the trick, doesn't it? Does anyone else have this problem or am I interpreting the method wrongly? I would appreciate the help!
