English Pennies

I have a coin collection that I have been adding to throughout the years. Some magic coins, some foreign just cause I liked them, some silver from my days working at a casino, and a portion of my collection I inherited from a Great Grandmother that she collected from her travels. Many of these coins have traveled the world and have some wear that I seem to like which leads me to my current dilemma.

I recently bought a coin set from Johnson and to match my current collection I would either have to age the new coins or clean a few of my original ones. While I understand the benefit of visibility newly cleaned copper coins have but some of my old coins I quite like the patina on some of the English Pennies in particular.

Anyone have thoughts or preferences on copper aged coins versus brightly cleaned ones?
