Jerry's Nugget Offer?

Ok guys, now I just HAD to ask you this question because I could go either way about it. I had a friend offer me an UNOPENED deck of blue Jerry's Nuggets, and he said that he would sell them to me for exactly $100; no lower. Do you think this is a good deal? Also, I am still a beginner, and I decided that if I DO get them, that I'm not going to open them until I become more advanced. But should I get them at all? And also I wanted to ask if red Jerry's were any more rare than the blue ones? Thanks for reading. :)

Is a worth it to you?

To my knowledge, those decks usually cost around $150 or higher.

Who knows, things might have changed. Go check out Ebay.

Dude it's just a deck of cards it's no better (if it is then not by much) than any other deck thats 50 times less than that in cost, the only reason you could buy it, is to resell it in a couple years for like $300

For the normal price of jerrys, YES!

Though you could get a ton of tallys.

Or even bikes.

Or even Guardians.

If you have that 100 dollars to dish out and you're willing to use that 100 dollars and forget about making profit, I would open it.

IF yo uare kind of like: well, I could sell it, but I would never be able to feel what its like, I would open it and play around with it and eventually sell it for like 60 dollars.

Unless you are a serious card enthusiast or card collector I would say your $100 could be better spent elsewhere considering your are just starting out. Personally if I was your friend I wouldn't try and sell you a deck of Jerry's knowing you were a beginner....it's like buying a Schoolcraft of Lassen set of coins just to see if you like coin magic, the only difference being you can get back what you paid for the used coins and the deck will decrease considerably in value once you open it and use it.

You should take the deal because even if you want to buy other magic or tallys or something, you can just resell the Jerrys on eBay for $200. Meaning you'll have more money for that other stuff.

You know guys, there is a brand name called Aristocrat that sells decks only used for one casino session. that may be worth looking into. Also, the casinos don't sell them online, but they do sell their used decks. I'd find some friends in Vegas who could look into things like Jerry's Nugget cards and Wynn's. I personally think you're getting ripped off, and think of all the other things you may want or need with that same $150. Is one deck of cards worth it? After all, they may be great cards, but still, they're only playing cards. Be the player, not the played!

Well, instead of buying them to be used, buy them to sell again! Jerry's are discontinued and the price will only go up - $100 is "cheap", in comparison to others being sold on eBay.

It's your call, but I'd think of it as an investment rather than a deck of cards.
