What Deck Of Cards Lasts The Longest?

For a deck that's worth the money BUT LOOKS NORMAL...
Go for Tally-Ho's... Same price as regular bikes, but with a better feel (in my opinion)...
Go for Bikes... If you have gimmicks that only come with Bike backs...

People are already starting to recognise that Bicycles are the "Magician's Choice"... It equally does not help when they ALSO know that Bicycles are the deck of GAFF choice as well... :p

For a deck that's worth the money and LOOKS GOOD...
Ellusionist Ghost Deck... By far, my favourite deck of all time!! I'm sorry Theory11, even the Guardians don't cut it (Unless, cough cough, a UV500 finish to toughen 'em up?)... I'm sorry Black Tigers, you look way too scary for some people... I'm sorry Masters, but you're over-priced for the 'specialness' compared to the Ghosts. The Ghosts are just brilliant...
Not only that, there's a Ghost Gaff which is way more effective then the current Gaffs for the Masters (Until Ultragaff gets relesased). This is because it comes with more double-faces double-backs and Blanks which I find extremely useful...
For me, the Ghosts 'raise eyebrows' and give 'looks of skepticism'... Go ahead and hand them out... Spectators are more than welcome to check the actual 'normality' of the cards and also admire their AWESOME looks!

Anyone seen the new TRAGIC Deck which USPCC released? Funny court faces... I've never seen the Jacks look so sad (esp. my all time fav. Jack of Spades!)!

P.S. Shove any deck into a Joe Porper Clip... They'll come out fresh as a new deck, even the Guardians, I promise!

Thanks for the long thought.
I think I'm going to go for Masters.
Ghosts are too suspicious for me, and I hate convincing the audience its a 'regular deck', (even tho it is)

For the people that said Masters are the best... all four of my Master Decks suck. They don't even begin to compare to Guardians, or the other E decks, for that matter... which aren't even that good. And to the poster that said Jerry's are the best, no they're not, simply because of the cost.. Guardians are the best, I think. Jerry's may feel the best, but nothing, and I repeat... NOTHING can beat Guardians for the cost. Theory11 has truly made a fantastic and ground breaking deck.

I just buy regular bicycle decks - my local target sells a 2 pack for about $2.73, which I think is an excellent deal, so I just stock up on a bunch of those before they realize how cheap they are :p (Meijers, Walmart, etc around me sell the same 2 pack of bicycles for about 4 bucks...)
I think that buying these normal bike decks, even though they may not last as long, is cheaper - as I can buy 6 normal bikes for the price of 1 (insert custom deck here) including shipping.

I also think 19 is a bit high plus you have to wait for them to ship. 12 bikes for me around here would cost me bout $17

well back when i first stared with magic i bought one black tiger deck (thats it) and just started learning simple card tricks and just playing with the deck
that one deck when i stared out lasted me twelve long tiring, patient months.
i still have the pack but it looks like a vintage 1800 tiger deck haha

anyways i really think you should focus less on the cards and the magic
really the best reason to get cards is
is the price reasonable for your budget
and do you personally like the back design

other wise if you doing magic for laymen for pay regular bikes are the best because people need to be comfortable that the cards are normal :D

hope that helps

The decks that last the longest are KEMs...but I don't really like them.

I like STUDS...I just trashed a deck on Saturday after a session. I had been using the deck since mid-October. After trashing that deck, I had to use a regular rider back for the rest of the day. It was done by 10 that night.

I recommend KEMS if you like them, but if not go for OLD STUDS. I know you will like them!

Are you kidding me? I bought a deck of carta mundi's and there crap. Worst 2$ I've ever spent.

Yes, Carta Mundi does have some very crappy cards, and if you a Carta Mundi logo in a deck it doesn't mean it's great.
Some brands of Carta Mundi are good, though. Ace-brand I mentioned is great, and Casino Royale cards are pretty good.

Lol

I cannot believe this thread is still going and hasn't died our yet. ^_^
I have made up my mind and earlier today I ordered 3 decks of Guardians.
After seeing the amazing fast shipping Theory11 has I decided to go with Theory11 other than E, because I know there customer service sucks from experience.

Goodday!

I'd say the deck of cards that lasts longest is the one you either, (a) don't open, or (b) rarely use. I think other than that, any pack that you have with extensive usage will "die out" faster than a pack that you use rarely; whether it be Bicycles, Bees or even Jerry's Nuggets.

12 for $19??? + shipping??? Is that a joke? I can get a 12 pack of bikes for $13...Whats the difference!!!

Wow, way to many beginner's on here (including myself)

Anyway, I can tell you've never handled a deck of tally's if you think there the same as bike's. There at least 5X better than bike's in feel and look.

All around an extra 7$ for a deckt hat's 5X better seems like a good deal

Too many beginners? I have felt Tally Ho's, and I don't like how they feel. I use bikes for practicing, because they are the cheapest cards out there, at least for me. I perform with Ghost and Guardians. I never knew about this site until like a month ago, and I was getting my guardians from Ebay.

I have fixed your spelling mistakes,
Goodday,

You bought Gaurdians but didn't know about Theory11? HAHA

Oh, one more thing, if you don't like Tally's, there is something wrong with you.

If you're going for good cards that LAST the longest, then I would have to say either Ghosts or Tally-Ho Vipers. I'm not saying they are the best overall, just replying to your question that merely asks which ones last the longest.

Also, the Masters deck is very nice and high quality, and definitely lasts longer than normal bikes, but still not as long as the two aforementioned.

EDIT: I thought about it, and if you wanna go to extreme measures I guess Jerry's Nuggets would actually last the longest. But realistically (I mean in terms of decks that are easily affordable) I think your best bet are still Ghosts or Vipers (both from ellusionist).

Maybe we should wait until the centurions 909 come out, or . . Dan and Dave buck are producing there own cards, and they demand the very best of performance and quality.

Non-plastic cards?

It just has to be Piatnik Wheels (poker size version). The build quality is amazing! USPCC decks aren't even close. Too bad Wheels don't fan particulary well.
