Basics would be one handed cuts such as:
Charlier
Scissor cut
Thumb fan
Cardsprining? (Adds a nice touch to your magic)
Maybe some deckdivions, flipback (by de'vo)

Most of these are found in Xtreme Beginnerz de'vo (can be bought online), which covers the basics + a little more. Some ppl like this dvd and think it's a good starting point.

There are some youtubers who have good tutorials, for instance cardshark88's two handed cut videos are a great way to get into sybils, once youve learned the basics + sybil you could get the trilogy by dan and dave or the system (also by dan and dave).

Take a look at this thread right here: http://forums.theory11.com/showthread.php?t=1803

Other tips: don't give up, you'll learn that move if you just practice hard enough :p
