Magic for 9 Year Olds

Hey guys I am doing a show for a bunch of 9 years olds! Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do?

The Kids Show Forum over at Penguin is very helpful for this kind of thing. One thing, though- it better be a long time away, because to put together a quality show, you need time- at the very, very least... three months to put the show together right. In all reality, you shouldn't take the gig unless you already have a Kids Show planned out and ready to go.

well you can do a card to top effect cups and balls or sponge balls

visual magic is what you are looking for.
any trick that you have explaine and talk throu isnt recommended for younger spectators.
do stuff like colour changes and spongeball vanishes and stuff like that.

Sponge balls, professors nightmare,d-lites, hankey vanish, any other rope tricks, peanut butter and jelly illusion, magic coloring book and linking rings- remember that kids have an attention span of a peanut and you need them to want to participate,- this is an entire show here.
